Crime Scene Investigation star Gary Dourdan was arrested on suspicion of cocaine, heroin and ecstasy possession early Monday Morning.
The 41-year-old actor - real name Robert Gary Durdin - was spotted on Monday morning at 5.12am asleep in his car on the wrong side of the road near to Palm Springs, California. The arresting officer said Dourdan appeared disorientated and under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. A search of the car revealed suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and other prescription drugs and paraphernalia. Dourdan was arrested and later released on $5000 bail.
Just last week we told you he left the popular CBS show on his own accord. But rumors were also circulating that is was because of his drug and alcohol abuse. I guess this arrest confirms things. Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., spoke at a news conference in Winston-Salem, N.C., Tuesday, about the latest assertion by his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. “I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday,” Obama said and added that Wright’s comments do not accurately portray the perspective of the black church.
“Rev. Wright does not speak for me. He does not speak for our campaign. I cannot prevent him from continuing to make these outrageous remarks, but what I do want him to be very clear about, as well as all of you and the American people, is that when I say I find these comments appalling, I mean it. It contradicts everything that I’m about and who I am and anybody who has worked with me, who knows my life, who has read my books, who has seen what this campaign’s about, I think will understand that it is completely opposed to what I stand for and where I want to take this country.” [CLICK TO VIEW VIDEO]

London-born soul singer/rapper Estelle Swaray has finally returned on the scene with a brand new album entitled, Shine (in stores now).

Signed by John Legend to his Homeschool label (the album is a joint venture between Homeschool and Atlantic Records), the singer already created her own fan base when she released the album The 18th Day back in 2003. With the singles “1980,” “Free” and “Go Gone” she definitely had a buzz going on before her trip to the states. Admittedly, when her first single dropped I wasn’t really a fan of Estelle’s music right away. But the more I saw the video and heard the track, she grew on me.
