ON THE SET: LIL MAMA’S NEW VIDEO

This week, Lil Mama shot the video for her next single “What It Is (Strike A Pose)” featuring T-Pain, who was also on the set. The video was shot in New York by director R. Malcolm Jones (pictured above).

Lil Mama’s album Voice of the Young People drops next week on April 29th.

FASHION: SERENA UNVEILS NIKE FALL WMNS’ LINE

Serena Williams helped to unveil Nike’s 2008 Women’s Fall Line in Venice, California Thursday. Nike brings a contemporary look for women to choose from with this line, which includes a range of colorful track shorts and jackets.

Serena was the perfect person to introduce the line. After all, she took her 5th Sony Ercisson title and the Family Circle Cup Title this month – plus she is said to have a $55 million dollar deal with Nike.

NEWS: WESLEY SNIPES GETS 3 YEARS

Actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison and fined up to $5 million on tax evasion charges on Thursday. It was the maximum sentence possible under federal sentencing guidelines. He didn’t have to turn himself in immediately. The judge ruled he could surrender at a later date.

“The law is very clear: People must pay their taxes,” Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Douglas Shulman said. “There is no secret formula that eliminates a person’s tax obligations.” [READ MORE]
