POLITICAL ROUND UP: KERRY & OBAMA CAMPAIGN IN PA / HILLARY’S NEW AD / MORE ON JEREMIAH WRIGHT
Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Teresa Heinz Kerry joined Michelle Obama at Carnegie Mellon University Wednesday saying she hoped the state would support the Obama campaign the way it had for both of her husbands.
“Pennsylvania voted for both of these good men,” she said, referring to the late John Heinz, a former Republican senator in the state, and Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential candidate. “And this election, I hope Pennsylvania will join me in casting a ballot for another great and good man, Sen. Barack Obama.”
Her husband endorsed Obama in January, but this was Heinz Kerry’s first event on Obama’s behalf and Michelle’s first rally in Pennsylvania.
“We are gonna need Pennsylvania,” she said. “Because in this ever-shifting, moving bar, Barack Obama will always be the underdog. No matter how much money he raises, no matter how many wins he pulls together, no matter how many delegates he accumulates; he is still the underdog. It’s the way it works.”
HILARY’S NEW AD
Following the release of her plan last week to protect American homeowners, Sen. Hillary Clinton has released a new 3AM ad. I’m sure we’ll soon hear, “How about releasing those tax returns?” from the Obama campaign.

MORE ON JEREMIAH WRIGHT
( Photo: Trinity United Church of Christ )People are still talking about Obama’s former pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
On Friday, Sen. Barack Obama appeared on The View and mentioned:
“Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying at the church.”
The Page has published a letter Wright wrote to The New York Times in March 2007 as well as their response.
In the letter, Wright expressed his disgust that pieces of the interview were omitted from an article:
“Out of a two-hour conversation with you about Barack’s spiritual journey and my protesting to you that I had not shaped him nor formed him, that I had not mentored him or made him the man he was, even though I would love to take that credit, you did not print any of that.”
One of the most famous preachers, T.D. Jakes, has even offered his thoughts on the Wright controversy.
Shout out to CL Reader Kimberly for the info.

I agree #2. People are acting like Rev is running for Pres. More importantly, the nation is taking the term mentor too far. Rev is older than Barrack so he experienced racism on a different level and he obviously had a flashback. Barrack has his own beliefs. Some beliefs are congruent with Rev and some not. Period!
I like how T.D. Jakes compared Rev’s situation to that of a molested child. Something like that is devastating as was Jim Crow/slavery. I am sure most Americans would sympathize with a woman who was molested as a child and speaks angrily about it as an adult.

People need to leave Obama’s pastor alone. Michael Baisden played about 10 minutes of his sermon and i agreed with some of what he said and some i didn’t but that doesn’t mean he has some hidden agenda against America. Folks just don’t want to talk about things that need to be talked about.

THE FACT IS HILLARY IS A BOLD FACE LIAR!!! Everything she has stated (in debates, and in interviews), are her Foreign Policy experience are lies. Fackcheck.org researched all 4 of the things she has been claiming for months and months is her foreign policy experience, and found ALL 4 of them to be lies.
(1) Hillary Clinton claims to have “negotiated open borders” inMacedonia tofleeing Kosovar refugees. But the Macedonian borderopened a full daybefore she arrived, and her meetings with Macedonianofficials were too brief to allow for much serious negotiating.
(2) Hillary Clinton’s claims her activities “helped bring peace toNorthern Ireland.”Irish officials are divided as to how helpfulClinton’s actions were, and key players agree that she was notdirectly involved in any actual negotiations.
(3) Clinton has repeatedly referenced her “dangerous” trip toBosnia. She fails to mention, however, that the Bosnian war hadofficially ended three months before her visit, or that she made thetrip with her 16-year-old daughter and two entertainers.
(4)Both Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton claim that Hillaryprivately championed the use of U.S. troops to stop the genocideinRwanda. That conversation left no public record, however, asU.S.policy was explicitly to stay out of Rwanda, and officials saythatthe use of U.S. troops was never considered.
— So Hillary is NOT even in the White House yet and she is already telling bold face lies, AND worst they all lies about wars, wars in which millions of people died, and she was willing to use those tragedies, to lie about them over, and over, she is willing to exploit, them without one ounce of shame for her behaviour.
Hillary is pathalogical liar!!. AND she is already telling us lies, and she isn’t even in the White House yet!!

What I find interesting is the way the media NEVER mentions that Jeremiah Wright was a a Marine, that he vounteered during the Veitman war, to fight for THIS country, for ALL the people of this country!!!
Jeremiah was willing to put his life on the line for THIS country, and it’s people, and is an army veteran, and there is ZERO mention of that in the media.
I also notice that the media does not mention that while in the army, Jeremiah wright was a part of the medical team which took care of a very sick man named Lyndon Johnson, (guess who he was: the 36th President of the United States Of America).
YOU NEVER HEAR THE MEDIA MENTION THAT PART OF HIS LIFE OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER AGAIN, DO YOU… I WONDER WHY THAT IS (sarcasm) !!
The media establishment in this country is so transparent, bias, and a true disgrace. I guess to the media (who claims to be fair, and unbaised), it is not important that this man (a black man), became a soldier to protect THIS country, BUT I notice how very quick they are to insinuate that he does not love THIS country!!!

All of u criticizing Hillary and Bill need to shut it. I didnt hear u complaining when the Clintons were in office, an era that was WAY more prosperous for our people and everyone in general than it is NOW under the Bush Administration. Damn hypocrites…The only reason you’re attacking Hillary is because of Obama who u soooo blindly want to win. Obama supporters attack anyone who’s not for their guy.
Obama is great. That dude would be a great president. But realize that all politicians are full of it, even if only sometimes. I like both Obama and Hillary and I understand Hillary exaggerates, probably a bit more than one would like. And she can be full of it just as bad. But one fact remains; she would be a damn good president.
U all know just as well as I do that Hillary and Bill are NOT Racist. Hillary has looked up to black leaders all her life and is the farthest thing from a racist and you all damn well know it.
I respect Jeremiah Wright. He has been harboring those angry emotions for quite some time though, as you can tell. He spoke the undeniable truth and I wish whites would just let it go, even if Im positive that Obama agrees with Wright in some kind of way as most blacks do…
However, we cannot deny that this has hurt Obama’s campaign. And right now all im worried about is who can WIN against McCain. I dont care which one takes the cake, i just want them to beat the Republicans and their money-grabbing hands badly.
I used to respect McCain until he changed his beliefs to match the Republican party’s own beliefs just so they would support him.
Obama may not get that chance anymore b/c lets face, whites can be shallow, dont understand racial discrimination, and will turn their backs on Obama come election time for the presidency. The Republicans can even USE this to their advantage. My roomate is a white guy. He’s cool (i have an indian roommate as well. Funny how we see eye to eye compared to the white guy.) but his ideas of Obama have changed b/c his of so called “militant blk panther of a pastor.” He thinks Obama has been bred in the presence of hatred.
My roommate is the typical white guy so trust me. He represents how most of them feel about the situation. Right now im just lookin for who will win. If Obama can beat McCain then so beat it, but i realize that this is WHITE America and his chances of winning the Presidency are very slim because of this situation. They say they’ll vote for him now, but election time comes and we’ll be seeing a whole different story. Obama needs strong support to win and Hillary could help him out just as he could mos def help her.
I still think Obama-Clinton need to work together to defeat McCain because they have both have such huge support. Two MINORITIES on a ticket? Think of how much America would be changed in the eyes of the rest of the world. But Hillary may be our best working bet now because of this predicament. I dont care. I just want someone to beat the Republicans.
Oh, and Geraldine Ferraro is not a racist. Her comments were accurate. If Obama was a blk man that had more negroid features people probably would not be as interested in him. But he’s biracial, his dad was an immigrant, he’s young. He is the future and its a unique factor that works and reels people in. Plus he is inspiring. But inspiration alone would not be enough if he wasnt who he was.

I so agree Nomosoul that demonizing Hilliary is not fair. The political process is what it is and what it has been for decades. You attack your opponents record and sometimes them personally. I think she has been somewhat restrained, compared to the candidates of past presidential campaigns! I remember reading about the impact of the Willie Horton ads which contributed towards the downfall of Democrat Dukakis’ run for president, scared white America and some blacks into believing black murderers would be released from jail and run amuck. He lost his bid. And the attack on Kerry’s wife, yes the same Heinz, because some of her views differed from his and she was coming on to strong for the “wife” of a potential president. John Kerry himself was portrayed as someone who was out of touch with most Americans because he is so rich (the media ran the picture of him windsailing over and over again to make the point, presumably to say that rich people windsail.)
What about the numerous affairs that came to light on demo and repub senators who either had thrown their hats into the ring for the job or who were considering doing so? Stopped them cold.
The media played a significant role in this information being viewed over and over again. It is a part of the process. Should we want less of it? Yes we should. Is the reality something completely different? Yes it is.
I believe it is likely many African Americans are voting for Obama because he is black. Geraldine was not wrong on this point.
The media has not thoroughly vetted Obama. They are in love with him and are afraid of the backlash if they treated him like they have treated most candidates in the past. So far, I am impressed with what I have seen and heard from him. But I do think up to the ordeal with Reverend Wright, they handled him with kid gloves. Even after the 30 second clip came to light, some media companies refused to do what they have done in the past, skewer him with it!
Finally, I believe like Nomosoul that Hilliary, Bill and Geraldine Ferrara don’t deserve to have their impressive records for supporting African Americans ignored just because we now have a black candidate in the race.

#30….I agree with 90% of what you said! The reason iIdeduct 10%, is because i have absolutely NO RESPECT for Jeremiah Wright….
It’s amazing how so many of our african-american brothers and sisters think that Obama will win this election against Mccain….realistically it’s not going to happen!
We can sit here and talk trash about Hillary all day long, but the fact still remains that she will be a damn good president who has a better chance of going against Mccain!
Jeremiah Wright is on of the biggest RACIST i’ve heard….And YES i said it! How can one blatantly stand in God’s house and speak in the manner of which he did? Their are no double standards when it comes to racial remarks! And the fact that people co-signing to this mess is utterly ridiculous! If Jeremiah Wright can stand and say such things of this manner….then why can’t a “white man” stand and say the same things about our race (in church out of all places)? He is most definitely not a good look in my eyes….I was ashamed. I can’t speak for some of you guys, but i attend church to here the word of god….The bible teaches us to love one another! He’s a disgrace to even be ordained as a reverend in my book!

Oops! Said this : Is the reality something completely different? Yes it is.
But meant to say, the reality is something completely different because candidates will attack each other and their opponent’s political history. And the media will pick and choose what light will be shone on their skeletons.

Forgot to mention that the media’s portrayal of Hilliary has largely to do with her being a woman, IMO. Their is gender biasness in the media. Just please factor that into what you see and hear about her.
Check out this website for an article with examples on how she has been treated. http://mediamatters.org/items/200802080011. It includes references to the Clintons “pimping out” Chelsea to the campaign. Many women were fired up about the veiled reference to the “prostitution” of Chelsea and lets not even mention which group is most often associated with pimping.. Why would they even go there when we have seen several adult children doing the same thing (the right thing) supporting their fathers? It is possibly because they do not want a woman to be president. It is possible isn’t it?
I said I was impressed with Obama thus far. I am also impressed with Hillary as well. I am really trying to eliminate the noise and listen to what they are saying about education, foreign affairs and the economy,.

@30…Are you serious? Our country was more prosperous under the Clinton Administration?….How so? Please do tell….. Comparing the C.A. to the Bush Admin. in hind site might appear “better” but when you do true research our nation has been in ruins for quite some time now and unfortunately won’t make much progress for a considerable amount of years to come…it’s just the reality of the Europeanized world we abide in.
Jeremiah Wright might have been “politically incorrect” according to the Caucasoids POV but, I’d have to say that he stated opinions that reflect a multitude of people who think those very thoughts daily including myself. We need to stop allowing the wool to be pulled so far over our eyes people.
As for HC’s new add…I saw the young sleeping actress on the Today Show a few weeks ago, now 18 yrs, and she stated the following “It’s really sort of ironic that my image would be used to advocate for Hillary when I myself do not,”… “I’ve been campaigning for Barack Obama for a few months now,” she said. “I was actually a precinct captain at the caucuses a few months ago. I attended his rally a few months ago and I’m a very, very avid supporter.” LOOKS LIKE HC can’t catch a break these days smh. I hope both candidates hang in there b/c I cringe @ the thought of McCain leading this country~

First off Jerimiah Wright to my knowledge had already retired prior to the whole “racist” comment scandal. I myself thought his views were radical but I also believe that everyone is entitled to their opinions. Obama and every other member of that church, can decide for themselves where they choose to attend church. I don’t think it’s any person’s place to say one church is more or less godly…Pastor Wright’s comments just so happpen to have been caught on video, but their are so many other scandals going on in black, white, asian, ALL churches worldwide. Whether it’s sex scandals, embezzlement,or cult practices; there is no perfect church; No perfect pastor.
The reality of the situation is that Hilary Clinton’s campaign(and Jon McCain supporters) are just trying to use every underhand method to tarnish Obama’s reputation; so that they can gain momentum. First it was Obama’s “drug” use which he admitted in his book. Then it was him in so called “Muslim” garments that turned out to be nothing of the sort. Then it was the use of his middle name Hussein, to further characterize in the minds of people that he is a practicing Muslim. And now it’s this Jeremiah Wright issue which is ridiculous. Really? How can a person be held accountable for what another person says in their own church, to their own congregation? If that was the case we’d all be guilty for every single stupid, decieving, misleading lie and decision George W. has made.
I think it’s important for any leader to be held at the highest of standards but don’t condemn me for the words and actions of the next man…. Let my works speak for me and of me.

This is ridiculous that they are still talking about this man. They are trying to discredit him in the worst way when he was one of the major combat fighters in war more so than our current president. Anyways J. Dakar see if you can find a video of Tavis Smiley on Bill Maher talking about this situation. He explained it very well and made a comparison of how they tried to discredit Martin Luther King when he pointed out something wrong in the government and eight days later he was killed. It was a great comparison of how the government and media look for the quickest excuse to discredit black figures. The gonna ride this Jeremiah thing until they can’t anymore cause they have nothing else to ride on and I’m glad Obama didn’t dismiss his pastor because that’s what they want him to do.

@28. Yes, she is a horrid liar. I can’t stomach that about her. She can’t be trusted because she lies with such ease.
@30. You don’t know your audience. Most people commenting were barely out of high school when the Clintons were in office so of course you didn’t hear them complain. You should ask the generation before us, you know the ones who love the Clintons’ smelly drawers–they put them in office.
Finally you should do some real research on what Bill allegedly did for black people. You will find that his record doesn’t match his hype. Negroes want so much to be loved by their perceived masters, that they get lost in the details.
If you see the evidence of Hillarys lies, and can’t see that shows her true defective character–then it is you who needs to be schooled…not anyone else.

Are you serious? I don’t care if he fought in World War I….his comments were RACIST and IGNORANT (and this is coming from a proud educated african-american woman)!
@ #37.Church is not a place to express your “racist opinion”…..It’s supposed to be a place where ALL people (not just one race), can come celebrate the goodness of Christ! How would you feel if you were a visiting caucasion male/female with your family, and you just happen to be sitting in the congregation during this particular sermon? Better yet, how would you feel if you were sitting in a predominately caucasion congregation, and the Reverend states, “Jesus was a rich white man in a poor black country”…I would feel uncomfortable in the house of God! By the way, he was in the pulpit preaching this mess with a choir behind him……retired my ass!
If people can keep talking about Hillary releasing her tax return (which in my opinion is irrelavant)……we can most definitely discuss views on Obama’s ass! His preacher is a “retired racist”, and he lied about NAFTA on national television to get votes! I’m so tired of catering to Obama’s supporters feelings….people act like this guy can do no wrong, and when he gets confronted people always seem to try and make excuses for him.I’m sorry guys, but he gets no “hope vote” from me….

jayla06,
So you’re saying that his pastor which is has his own personal views is relevant in this campaign but a woman who talks about our financial crisis and things and has been proven since she refuses to show the tax returns otherwise that she is very faulty is not relevant? A woman who said she was in all these foreign affairs, but those governments have also proven that her words are faulty? A woman who goes through crazy rants about Obama to keep her campaign afloat instead of talking about the issues. Oh and lets not forget about her lies: She didn’t vote for the war, She was under sniper fire in Bosnia, She has all of this experience, She cares about the popular votes but is willing to overpower voters by having the superdelegates go against it to get her in office. Okay so why do we vote for Hillary again? Because they went through every nuck and cranny about Obama smoking weed when he was younger, him being a “muslim”, and now he’s racist cause his pastor expressed his opinion? Please you sound ridiculous this man still comes out on top regardless of what Hillary does for a reason.

@jayla06 - the only thing irrelavant at this point is to speak on what Hillaryat this point because the only way she can win the nomination is to STEAL it. And, if she is that good to STEAL the nomination, she will further divide the democratic party…Who will gain from this??? Hillary? Obama? No…The Republicans will…
Basically, the republicans are enjoying this fturned personal democratic race. Of course they would love the fight to continue through June all the way to August. I am beginning to think Hillary is an undercover employee for the Republican party.

How is it that Jeremiah Wright can hurt Obama’s campaign when Bill Clinton who was once Preisdent (two flesh), dishonored God, the highest office in this land ordained by God and lied to Gods people (people do belong to God you know), and then we are to forgive and forget his sins and go on and give them another chance and she lied 56 times under oath and we are not to vote for Obam because of another mans sins, this is sick this country has gottne bigger than God because he calls us to account for out own words and actions.

@ #45 this is crazy cause my Moms sat me down and had along talk with me she is really inot the Word of God and she said this country needs to keep their mouths off of Rev.Wright and do what Obama did leave him in Gods hand. She said preachers are not perfect and God is not juding him like man and she said if you know the scriptures a lot of what he said lined up with the Word of God.
She also said this country has no morals and don’t understand what the Clintons did when they were in office was wrong in the eyes of God and she says they will not go back into the white house. She said people need to read their bible (christians especially) about a couple in the new testament named Ananias and Sapphira.
She also says that the scripture says there a 7 things the Lord hates is a lying tongue which is also an abomination tot he Lord she said the Clintons have not stopped lying and she said a vote for Hillary is a vote for Bill they two are one flesh if husband and wife.
She said this country is going to be judge for talking about Rev.Wright she said the Lord is not winking, she said the Word says touch not mine anointed and do my prophet no harm she said then this was when this mess started that the best thing for people to do is pray for Rev.Wright and for this secular media but she says those who are juding him will too be judged she said Gods word is true.
She said Obama has not done anything and the media have decieved many as the Clintons and she said it is the like th eblind leading the blind and they both fall in a ditch.
She also why would you want a leader who conducts herself like Castor and acts as if know one else is worthy of this office other than them like God did not say He sets in office, she said I would afraid of giving anyone this much power. She said to me you can vote for her if you want to put this countrys bllod will be on your eyes and you would be in error. She said many just like you don’t know the scriptures and so many are in error.
She said the Lord is and does not hold any man account for anothers actions, so you all have gotten bigger than God the media and every one else holding Obama in account of another mans words, she also gave me a lecture about the ignorance of voting for someone who is a woman. She said that is sexist and as bad as being a racist which they are calling Rev Wright and she said the devil is a liar she said that man is no more racist than Jeus was. She said this country was judged and is going to continue to be judge because they are still not right and he told the truth.

Yes, its mighty funny no one is talking abotu Bill and his mess, and it was a mess laced in lies but all we hear is abotu Rev.Wright on CNN last night it was the Clinton amp which started this mess, the new campaign manager which is black when and got the dirt on Rev.Wright she use to work for Bill. They said the other woman who had been with Hillary for 16 years Bill got rid of (resigned alright) and the Clintons are behind the scenes doing everything and even now on the phone with superdelegates saying because of Rev.Wright she is more electable they had a big discussion abou this but they said this is her strategy she will do and say anything to win, that ad is just another lie to con people.
Cause as I was watching last night I said no one has said anything about her testimony during his impeachment hearing where under oath 56 or 59 times she lied .
From what I remember Bill did not just start whoring who is going to put a whore in the white house not me, I did not know before when I voted for them but now I know.
Blacks, hispanics and whites and everyone else we need to see how desperate the Clintons are I believe this woman will seel her mama and her soul to the devil to win.
Hey to all my comrades if the superdelegates go with her game lets get ready to fight we are not going to lt them take this from Obama and they are using this Rev.Wright mess which I am tired of to hurt Obama.Obam is runnignfor office not Rev.Wright. He is not married to this man and who know Obama maynot stay in that churchone elected or before the primarie but it would have been cowardly and chicken butt to leave now, he was willing to take the heat, and I admire that and he did not kick the Rev. under the bus. I agree we should be praying for Rev.Wright and let God deal with him.
I am so tired of this. I believe Rev.Wright is going to do an interview on mainstream , I don’t believe he is going to let them keep messing with Obama and some men of God are going to stand with him.Church stand up to the media and tell them to STOP this nonsense it has gotten old. To Hillary and Bill this dog aint hunting no more okay. We are tired of listening to it we know its youand your camp behind it, keep it up we willbe ready for the repubs with this mess.

I’m sitting here trying to make some logic out of some these comments, and i’m appalled at how poor some of you guy’s grammar skills are! I honestly can’t understand a thing from #43 on down….It’s just ridiculous! I can only hope some of you are just writing to write, because if you speak in the same manner of which you write……..that speaks miles!
I’ve said my peace…….I can’t respond to posts that I can’t comprehend! (walks away with a migrane)

I understand explicitly what the others are saying all of them especially the Godly references because my own grandmother siad the same thing months ago she said the Clintons have no morals and they got a lot of nerve to stand before people and aspire to be put back in the office they once dishonored.
Good idea to get off and stay off. Especailly if you want to insult our intelligence so like Hillary and Bill so love to do. I grant you one thing they are highly and extremely experienced at lying and manipulating to get what they want and they deserve an Oscar for their self-serving attitude towards this country.

#45 and #46 have to be the same person. All this god talk makes u sound ridiculous. If you really are religious then you know the bible says all the kingdoms of the world will fall under the kingdom of God when christ returns…
#36 MissEnvied. So please tell me how you’re doing now under the Bush Administration? Are you better off? Is the whole country better off with home disclosures and a recession on the horizion? When in the 1990s under Clinton we had a SURPLUS! So please if you’re so against Clinton tell me whether or not you’d take her over McCain if it came down to it. Obviously you’re unaware that McCain will be a continuation of Bush’s policies. Tax cuts for the wealthy, overfunding for a useless, high interest rates on student loans under this govts weak supervision, etc. Statistics have already reported that blacks prospered more under the Clinton Administration. Whereas now mortgage companies are targeting minorities. Right? Yeah, that’ll sure do a lot of good for our country.
Look, u need to face the facts. This Reverend Wright thing has turned off a lot of Americans, particularly WHITE PEOPLE who are the majority in this country and will determine the overall vote. The chances of them voting for Obama in November is slim. Its unexpected. Either Hillary should join Obama on the ticket or vice versa b/c they could def win based on popularity alone.
I dont care anymore! I just want a WINNER that can beat McCain. Thats what this is all about. If i cant have Obama i will gladly take Hillary. She is a lesser evil than McCain who has plans to ruin this country as opposed to her improving it. Right now Id take anyone who has the democratic values that can beat the republicans.
I wish there was another intellectual humanitarian political party that had the power and resources to go up against Dems and Repubs alike b.c im sick and tired of this power struggle between just them.
But there ISNT. So this time around we have to take what we can get until such a time comes, ya digg?

HILLARY CLINTON REGULARLY ATTENED PRAYER MEETINGS LEAD BY A RACIST WHO PRAISED HITLER!!!
Here is an article that appeared on ABC NEWS online (www.abcnews.com), today regarding Hillary Clinton, and HER religious affiliation.
Justin Rood Reports:
Stories on the “stealth” ministry of Douglas Coe have been cropping up recently on blogs and online publications, linking him unfavorably to Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.
Comparing Coe to Obama’s inflammatory pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barbara Ehrenreich wrote HuffingtonPost.com, “When it comes to unsavory religious affiliations, she’s a lot more vulnerable than Obama.”
But the story may not be so simple. Indeed, as Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign confirmed yesterday, he has also attended Coe’s prayer meetings.
Coe’s group, “the Fellowship,” reportedly shuns publicity while focusing on ministering to those in power in the United States and around the world. In Washington, D.C., Coe sponsors a weekly Senate prayer breakfast and an annual National Prayer Breakfast regularly attended by U.S. presidents.
Coe’s group has been called “shadowy,” and Coe has made some unusual comments which have raised more than a few eyebrows. In recorded presentations, he has seemed to praise Hitler and other totalitarian leaders for brutally enforcing their followers’ allegiance to doctrine over allegiance to family, and suggesting that was a model for teaching children about Jesus.
“[T]here is something deeply strange about the group,” wrote Atlantic magazine’s Joshua Green, who has reported extensively on Coe’s Fellowship and Hillary Clinton.
Ehrenreich and others have noted that Hillary has been a regular attendee at his weekly prayer meetings, and spoke warmly of Coe in her autobiography, “Living History.”
But if Clinton has a Coe problem, then it seems Obama would also: a quick call to the Obama campaign elicited a confirmation that the junior senator from Illinois had also attended “a couple” of Coe’s meetings. And, like Clinton reportedly has, Obama spoke at one of the meetings about his faith, spokesman Bill Burton confirmed.
— ROLAND, inform your listeners of this little tidbit, as both you and I know the mainstream press is NOT going to do it!!!

Here’s how I see it. Some of you may agree, some of you may not.
If it comes down to Obama and McCain come November, Obama will win. Why? Because if you watch the news or read on this whole thing, you’ll see that there are more of Hillary supporters who will jump ship to Obama if she should lose the dem nomination as apposed to Obama supporters jumping ship to Hillary’s if he should lose the dem nomination.
If it comes down to Clinton and McCain, McCain will win. 90% of democrats will vote democrat if their CHOSEN nominee should fail to be the final decision among Democrats. HOWEVER, looking at everything that is coming out on Hillary, seriously, the majority of Obama supporters are NOT going to vote for Hillary to lead this country. If it takes another 4 years with a Republican in the white house, I will be fine. I cannot, and will not vote for that woman. I loved Bill in the white house. NOT Hillary. Bill is the one who put this country back together with President Dumbdumb’s daddy wrecked it! Those Bushs’ are no good for this country, and they never have to worry about EVER being voted back into the white house. Trust and believe, both father and son have scorned the United States citizens’.
Back to Bill, he did some shady stuff as far as Monica goes. And while many believe he was our “black president”, they are kicking themselves in the ass now, because of how downright ignorant he has gotten since his wife has began to run. Bill has lost my respect for him. I thought highly of this man and how he did great things for us in his 8 years. But his wife is low and manipulative and I have always thought she was wishy washy. In my eyes, Hillary is riding her husband’s presidency to get her into the white house. Because I PROMISE YOU, if Bill never made it, or if he did horrible in the White House, people would not be voting for her.
Some people are voting for the wrong damn reasons and it’s a shame. INCLUDING BLACKS! Some are voting for Barack simply because he is black, screw what he can do for our beautiful country. That is the wrong reason to vote. Some are voting for Hillary just because of what her husband did, screw the fact that this woman lies repeatedly as if she thinks NOONE will find out she IS in fact lying. That’s the WRONG reason to vote. Vote because Barack is the only candidate left to actually do things for our country. Vote because Barack has promised us, basically a new country. Or should I say, what this country needs. We’ve been without for soo long, some of us are almost adapting to the hell BOTH Bush administrations have put us through.
I know who I stand behind because I know what I want out of life. I know what I want for my daughter and I know that the best person to bring about that change, is the man who has that exact word in his slogan.
CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN: If there aren’t truer words, I don’t know what is.
Go OBAMA!!!!!
