Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice dismissed rumors that she is trying to become Sen. John McCain’s running mate.
“I very much look forward to watching this campaign and voting as a voter,” she said. “I have a lot of work to do and then I’ll happily go back to Stanford.”
Earlier this week, a Republican strategist said Rice had been actively campaigning.
On Monday, Senator McCain remarked that if Condi is campaigning to be his running mate, it’s news to him. Even if she isn’t, she’s already garnered the endorsement of Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

According to the Associated Press, Linda Ramirez-Sliwinksi, a trustee in the Chicago suburb of Carpentersville, was issued a $75 ticket for disorderly conduct after neighbors complained to police. She says the word wasn’t meant racially and she will fight the ticket.
On Saturday, two children were playing in a tree next door to Ramirez-Sliwinski’s home. She said the parents were outside supervising the children, but she went over and told them to get out of the tree because she was concerned about the boys’ safety and because the tree was being damaged.
She said the father of one of the boys told her it was none of her business and “I calmly said the tree is not there for them to be climbing in there like monkeys.” What do you all think about this?
U.S. USED 9/11 AS PRETEXT?

“On the pretext of this incident a major military operation was launched and oppressed Afghanistan was attacked…Poor Iraq was attacked. According to official figures…one million people have been killed,” he said in a speech marking Iran’s day of nuclear technology.
Ahmadinejad also said the names of those killed in the attacks had never been published and questioned how the planes had hit the World Trade Center.
“An event was created in the name of the attack against the twin towers. We were all sad. It was said that 3,000 people were killed,” he said. “But the names of the 3,000 people were never published and nobody was able to respond to the main question, which is how is it possible that with the best radar systems and intelligence networks the planes could crash undetected into the towers.”
In related news, Gen. David H. Petraeus recommended Tuesday that consideration of any new withdrawals of American troops be delayed until the fall.

Why are so quick to put others down when it comes to positing comments about celebrity related news, but when real issues are affect our present and FUTURE, nobody has anything to say. As for the Iranian president, he just wants air time. The point of this charade known as the “political system” is to make the people believe that they have options when they really do not. Obama is just as much in on it as anyone else, if not more, because he is being used to get the simple-minded blacks (who comprise approximately 90% of our people) to put their spirit into America.
