Rihanna and her cute dog Oliver were spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (April 11). She went for lunch at Chin Chin restaurant and then hit up the recording studio.

She’s said the label likes her to turn out albums quickly, but she might be rushing to put another out because once that contract is up, she’ll be able to renegotiate. She’ll get probably 10 times the amount she got before.

Kelis had a little guest spot gig at a mag a few years ago…maybe it was just good for a single column. And, we’ve been hearing stuff about an accessories line (Mizrebel was the first, Cake and Bread (for men) the second and third) and a clothing line (Cake) and a cook book and so far…nothing. Someone said she’s hosting a fashion show for VH1. That’ll be cool. As for her style being underwhelming of late, Kelis has ALWAYS been a hipster and she’s always been so pround to be different and set apart and so she’s probably really annoyed that “hipster” is the look du jour and it’s being mass produced and everybody is doing it. So many people make fun of Solange’s oddball shoe or clothing choices, period…and, well…she’s just trying to do the hipster thing… So, Kelis is probably annoyed by it…like those really rich people who buy couture and puke at the thought of wearing something after a celebrity has been spotted in it. Same thing, different level, I guess.

Contrary to the general CL population, I do think she can sing, she just doesnt have a typical voice, which is what makes her distinctive- you know her songs because her voice is recognisable and she doesnt sound like any other singer.

Rihanna is NOT that special to me..I dont see why people drool over her style. The outfit is not anything to be wanting, it looks a hot ass mess to me. And I think her dog is hideous, way to furry, its probably because I dont like dogs though. In addition, why the hell is she just chillin at the corner of the street?? Anyway’s I don’t hate Rihanna but she should not be someone who people admire..because WTH is she. Okay she is holding a “DOG”. A dog runs arounds, barks, sniffs. plays in the grass, some are there to protect. But, now dogs are treated better than humans and even treated and respected by all humans instead of humans treating each other with respect and love. Dogs are the new status symbol. Think about it. I do care about dogs. However, you will never ever see me carring one around. They can walk.
