One of the most talked about sneakers this month are the Air Yeezy, which is a collaboration sneaker between Nike and Kanye West. Kanye has been giving previews of the shoe on his blog, which also happens to be part of his ‘Glow In The Dark’ touring outfit.
The sneaker is a mixture of perforated and patent leather which is applied to the upper and strap. Best of all, the shoe does exactly what his tour is named – glows in the dark. West posted a photo of the tight effect on his blog last week as well. No word on the release date, but we can count on Kanye letting us know soon.

I’m a sneaker head,but i’m kind of on the fence with these,at first i wasn’ really feeling them to much,but now that i’m really looking at them they’re not bad,and you definetly got to have (I hate to use this word) swagga to pull those joints off. They are definetly not for the casual sneaker wearer.(if that’s a word).

Ummm, cool concept. Wonder why sneakers that glow in the dark never came out before. Hmm…maybe they have. I’m not up on kicks info but people will def. buy them just b/c they’re different. I remember, back in the day, when I used to have some L.A. Gears that had the little lights in them and I used to walk around wit the lights off just to see them light up. LOL…ah nostalgia.
I respect Kanye for diversing himself as a brand and artist…but I’m not feeling the shoes…and I haven’t been feeling Nike as a company for a while….when I found out that they used child labor to manufacture some of their products…Kanye West comes across as a good person…I hope he demands a tour of the factory where his sneakers are being made…it would be disgraceful for a celeb like him to put his name on something that’s being made by a kids in a third world country for slave wages.
But then again, this America and most of us just buy shit because we want it…never thinking twice about where it came from and who made it….so whatever.

being that they really resemble the lebron james like thrid shoe uhm………. The V w/o the nike sign strap over the foot. The body of the shoe is just the same with as Lebrons other shoe the Zoom and (oh yeah I know this cause I am a sneakerhead female and I have the shoes ) Also with the like ness of about 16 total NIKE shoes that are high top. If NIKE planned on doing this then they should have made it more orginal fitting Kanye West.

Im a sneakerhead.. and a gurl.. watchout…. Honestly, they get the job done. Im a Sb dunk collector and ill still find a pair of these. the color scheme is nice.. the mixed materials, and the flashy strap all speak to what people who wear sneakers want… to be noticed… and the orange sole help with that too, not to mention the glow n the dark.
