Leona Lewis – Misses Glass (full) – listen
Here’s a new Leona Lewis track from the reworked version of her debut album, Spirit, which is being prepared for US release. The original version of Leona’s album is very ballad heavy, so they’ve added a couple of tracks to the set for its American release. I really have grown a liking for Leona, even though the album did get a little boring after a little while – I’m glad she’s adding some more tracks.
Michelle Williams – Unexpected (snippet) – listen
After Michelle’s single leaked yesterday, and the new promo photos – here’s another snippet leaked from Michelle’s third solo album. The snippet is the title track from her album, Unexpected. I actually really have been digging everything I’ve heard from Michelle. In the past, I would have never expected people to be going up for Michelle’s material moreso than Kelly’s, but it seems as though Ms. Williams is really getting love in the streets this time around. I’m excited for the new album, which is due out soon.
Jay-Z – Ain’t I (full) – listen
A while back, we posted some new Jay-Z material that was said to be from a new album, supposedly titled The Blueprint 3. The track, “Ain’t I” is produced by Timbaland and actually is some old work that has resurfaced and featured on some mixtapes. The version that we posted before had DJ’s shouting all over it, so I just decided to post this up for those of you who wanted the song without all the DJ adlibs, shouts, etc. I actually really dig this song, but I’m still bumping American Gangster, so I’m not expecting any new Jay-Z material
Day 26 – Just Should’ve Told You (full) – listen
The boys from Making the Band 4, Day 26 dropped their album last week and we’ll find out soon just how well they faired on the charts and their first week sales. In any event, “Just Should’ve Told You” is a bonus track from the album that wasn’t included on its original release. It definitely would have fit in with the rest of the album. I actually think I would have preferred this song over some of the other tracks that were included in the debut album, which is in stores now.

I know this comment has nothing to do with the music, but after reading some of the other comments I feel I need to say it
I think that it is sad that some people have taken this whole fan and stan thing to the extreme. I mean really. I really dont think people know the difference or have simply forgotten the definition of what a fan is.
Some of the things people are saying is COMPLETELY crazy. That someones fans are going to try to sabatoge other peoples career by not supporting other people or that some ones fans are on the look out for new talent cuz they dont want someone else to take that persons spot. WHAT?
what happened to a fan just being someone who Liked/Loved your music. Who was eager and excited when their artist came out with a new song or did a performance.
How did it become that if You are a fan of A’s music, that forbids you to be a fan of B’s music. I understand the “stans” and how their crazy and delusional, but I really think some people have lost focus on what the two words actually mean,

Now you know ya’ll my peoples and I respect the opinions that ya’ll have when it comes to the music reveiws cause for one some of ya’ll are straight fools and have me buggin at work. But the Leona Lewis (although not a fan) I actually like that song. I love uptempos and this is a sick joint.

Day 26- I like them, and the song is cool.
Because of #51 (Kitty) I am going to do something I haven’t done in a LONG time which is go out and but a cd. Even though cd’s are played out I will just up load it to my ipod. After listening to kitty….I am going to purchase day 26 cd this week.
Dayyum those boys from Day 26 sound sexy. From what I have heard so far they have a great album. Definitely modern day boy-band RnB. Diddy better not mess them up.

The Beyonce leaks are CLEARLY the work of haters. She already put out a statement when about the first leak and probably doesn’t want to keep repeating herself to knuckleheads. Why would she want to kill any of those girls’ careers when her Daddy’s making money off of each of them? Think people.
Also, it’s truly sad that after 10+ years people can’t except that Beyonce is the “greatest at what she does” (Monique quote). I’m glad she continues to shut the haters down by putting out hot music.
They really need to start getting in producers’ asses FINANCIALLY for these leaks though. It would stop then.
I love Jay’s song and I think it’s okay to defend an artist you like as long as you’re not waiting for them outside their homes, etc. This is the internet. Like the haters come off as internet thugs, but I doubt if anyone’s slitting their wrists over hate comments.

I think ppl are feeling Michelle more this time around b/c she’s showed that she is strong. With or Without the knowles’ camp.
She’s not always on a Beyonce promo and she doesn’t feel the need to bring any of their names up during interviews…Not to mention her stepping out and doing “Color Purple” in Chicago was MAJOR gave ppl the chance to know and see her without the overshadowing.
I think it’s clearly time for Michelle to shine.
