Michelle Williams – Until the End of the World (full) – listen
It seems as though Michelle tracks are leaking left and right! We must be drawing very near to the release date. “Until the End of the World” pretty much is fitting into all the other material that I’ve heard from the new album, Unexpected. The album seems to be very mid-tempo with a heavy dance and house influence. The only song that’s sounding like it doesn’t really fit into the mix is Michelle’s “Stop This Car.” We’ll see though. I must admit, I really am digging this album direction.
Leona Lewis – Forgive Me (full) – listen
More Leona Lewis music reworked for the United States release of her debut album, Spirit. “Forgive Me” is produced by Akon, and for some reason, the arrangement of the song gives me a vintage Whitney Houston vibe. Even though I’m not a huge fan of Akon’s music, his productions for other people have usually impressed me (especially Gwen Stefani’s “Sweet Escape”). I may have to listen to “Forgive Me” a few more times to get into it – perhaps it will grow on me.
Cherish – Amnesia (full) – listen
Cherish is coming back with their sophomore album. They released a video for “Killa,” which is the first single and also was a cut from the Step Up 2: The Streets original soundtrack. I really like these girls voices. I think they sound really good together, and I actually think that the vocal arrangement for this song is wonderful. I don’t know too much about Cherish’s new project, but hopefully it has more music like this. I’m over all that snapping and dancing.
G-Unit – I Like the Way She Do It (full) – listen
“I Like the Way She Do It” is the first official single from the new G-Unit album, Shoot to Kill, which is slated for June 24th release, which is the same day that The Game, Nelly and Ne-Yo’s albums are all supposed to drop. It took me a minute to even really start listening to the song, but then again, 50 Cent says so much ridiculous stuff in the first verse, you can’t help but listen. In any event, “I Like the Way She Do It” is the new single.
#54 I was just thinking the same thing. It’s way too many over the top compliments regarding Michelle’s song. I know ppl have different tastes but this song is far from Fiyah.

I love myself some destiny child…however michelle I wish you the best because clearly out of the two you are the underdog. I didn’t expect your stuff to be on fire, I actually thought this direction is where they should have put kelly, she never was the booty shaking type, however when I heard all of these different sungs this is definetly you… I hope that you break the charts with this, tell your team to push these records over seas, they love this type of music.. I will be buying the album.. I always root for the underdog.. I love you and remeber God is the reason your career is going in the positive direction it is. TLD
Alright I know that alot of people on here are giving Leona Lewis a very hard time because she isn’t “soul”. Well I would agree that Leona Lewis is not a load singer but she has a very sweet and angelic sound to her. You don’t have to usse alot of bravado to be considered a “soul” singer. I think Leona is fine she just needs to have more confidence because she indeed has it.
Leona Lewis may want to seriously think about getting all new songwriters for her next album, or there may not be a third.

not everyone needs to have soul though so why does it matter if she has soul. what’s more important is that i never feel anything when she sings. i mean celine dion isn’t a soul singer but the woman shows emotion when she sings. i feel like leona is too caught on trying to sound like mariah that she pays more attention to technique than emotion. like she thinks about where to put the “ooh” instead of feeling it.
——> I think when people are saying “she doesn’t have soul” they’re not talking about the genre of soul music but definitely about emotions in her voice. In this case Celine Dion HAS soul even if she doesn’t sing soul. Most people feel Leona doesn’t HAVE that soul regardless of what she sings, they have the same opinion as you, actually.

love the cherish track, i really like leona, shes got it all, good on you girl… but this album doesn’t do her justice, its very weak and as much as i support her, from the tracks i’ve herd, i wouldn’t wanna buy the album, please Simone, on the next album up your Game or your gonna wreck this girls career.
Didn’t expect that from Michele. Its a nice dance track but I’m not blown away by it.
Leona Lewis–NEXT! Reminds me of Taylor Dane & Mariah Carey. Been there done that and she’s not even a good replica of the two. She can sing but its boring. Not really feeling her or that girl Estelle, stay on ya’ll side of the pond!

leona lewis sounds just as good as any other African American singer thats out now and not doing all that great she is in the category with Amerie, Monica, Brandy, Ashanti just another R & B singer. She aint no Alicia or Beyonce
