Check out this new song from Ryan Leslie and Cassie. Ryan has been getting plenty of play from his new song, “Diamond Girl,” and is set to release his album this summer. Although “Diamond Girl” has grown on me, I’m not sure how I feel about this new song, “Addiction.” Ryan, who is randomly a Harvard alumni, is responsible for producing Cassie’s entire first album, as well as for Cheri Dennis and Danity Kane. I must admit, Leslie is a talented and intelligent guy – but I’m not sure if I see it for him as an artist.

We posted this song months ago, but I got so many e-mails about it, as if it were really new music that I decided to post it up again. The track is written by Sean Garrett, who is dropping an album as well this summer. I think that the song is really hilarious, considering Raven’s Disney background. She’s talking about club bangers, getting dough, hustling and all of that. I’m not sure who Raven’s trying to target here: her Disney viewers or people her own age. Raven’s about 22 or 23 these days, isn’t she?

I don’t think Nicole Scherzinger’s album is coming out anymore. I’ve been hearing that Interscope scraped the project, but music is still leaking. I posted a snippet of “Physical” before, but here’s the full version. What’s funny about it is, credit is now being given to Danjahandz for producing it, and it also appeared years ago on ASCAP’s site as Pussycat Dolls song. Was Nicole recycling old PCD tracks for her album? I think it’s a shame that the label put so much money into her record, Her Name Is Nicole (2 videos, and 3 singles?!) and it isn’t even dropping.
Mariah Carey feat. Da Brat – 4Real4Real (full) – listen
Mariah’s new album, E=MC² hit stores today, but there were a couple of songs that didn’t make the shelve release. “4Real4Real” is an iTunes bonus track featuring long-time friend and previous feature, Da Brat. Although I can see why the song is a bonus track, it sounds about like everything else that Mariah made for the album. It was good to hear from Da Brat again, no matter how much I hate the new hair.
ryan and cassie. good beat. this is the best singing cassie has ever done (kept the words to a minimum). but overall i guess it’s passable

nichole. this isn’t the full song i heard but i like it. her vocals are weird (like the shriek she did after she says let’s kick it up a notch in the second verse.) and i love weird things. stops the song from being boring. but she’s not getting marketed well imo. hell if riri can make it, anyone can so her team needs to step it up and sell her properly. if they marketed her well, most of the ppl bashing her, would become stans

1.) Raven Symone is number 2 to Oprah as far as black women hustlers go. How many people can turn a children’s tv show into 100s of millions of dollars? Don’t forget that she came before Miley Cyrus and High School Musical. She broke the mold for rich Disney Channel Stars. Forget the pusher on the street that would call himself a hustler. She is hustling at its best so she can definitely speak on getting money without the help of a man.

Okay Addiction or Addictive is a nice track, but after hearing Diamond girl and Official Girl (I like them btw) I was expecting a little bit better. I mean Cassie has came along way and I think she needs to step away from R.L. a little bit.
Raven. I love the song. I mean the beat is bananas and the lyrics can give a woman confidence is needed. The lyrics are kinda similar to Destinys Child independent women. She is like 1 of the 2 people who release good music from disney. Her and Keke Palmer are the shit.
Nicole. Nah…not interested in her solo anymore. I mean I was lovin whatever u like until i saw the video. Never really like Baby love and Puakenikeni was good but if she would have release Pua 1st, her album probaly couldve been out by now. You didn’t post Raven’s song a few months ago. The song titles are similar but, the songs are different. There’s “Got it Girl” and “Girl, Get It”; being the song you just now posted. She isn’t really singing about the club and hustling. Raven is talking about women who have to struggle and work for things on their own, just by working a 9 to 5. She’s giving those women props in her song. Her songs stay positive and this is a good sound for her.
I wish all you people would stop hating on Raven. First of all, Raven has no ties to Disney Chanel anymore; the lease of her show “Thats So Raven” ran out a long time ago. I think that Raven’s song is actually a really positive, but she has used music and hooks that reminisce of the club bangers that everyone listens too. If, it helps her get radio play. I’m all for it.
