Surprisingly, people are find that Solange is really taking it there for the new album, SoL-Angel & the Hadley Street Dreams. She said she was going for a mixture of 60′s and 70′s soul with electronica, and this new remix of “I Decided,” by the Free Masons, who are infamous for doing dance records, is just that. I’m actually very excited about Solange’s album. She is really bringing something different to the table. I think it’ll be a good year for her and Michelle.

Slim of 112 has been working on some solo material for quite some time, and here is a fruit of that labor. “So Fly” is supposedly Slim’s new single. He’s been doing some shows in the Atlanta area. The new song features Yung Joc, who had a pretty good coming out with his sophomore album. Even though the song is cool, it feels a little dated to me. I’m not sure where I could see this fitting into mainstream radio.

When I first heard the song, I didn’t think it was Foxy. I mean, it sounds like her, but it doesn’t. The flow is the same but there’s definitely something different about the voice. I think it may just be that the tone is a little higher than what I’m used to. I think that Foxy needs to go on and hurry up1 I’m not exactly positive about what’s going on with the album – but Foxy is out! Her fans have been waiting.

Janet preps the third single from her 10th studio album, Discipline. “Can’t B Good” is one of the few ballads on the album that I really liked. It sounds a little closer to something that her brother has done, but it also takes me back to the sounds of the ballads on Janet’s previous records. I’m not sure where the decision for this song for the third single came into play, but I’m wondering what the video will look like.
Janet is whack now. We keep wanting the 80′s version of janet with the flowing NEAT weave, the turtlenecks, and the incredible innovative dancing. That’s not gonna happen it was 20 years ago. She can’t dance like that, just like Mariah and whitney can’t sing like when they were 20. It’s a wrap….at least whitney and mariah can still sing and do it somewhat well. janet looks like a gay man tranny trapped in a short woman’s body. She’s worth 100 million dollars and wears 4.99 dollar weave…she’s a mess. Where is Ms. Renee? honey she ain’t shit without Renee, haven’t u figured that out yet? Renee wrote those songs, oversaw those videos, made sure her wardrobe and weave was INCREDIBLE. Renee is the real janet.

All those songs were WACK except Solange’s….most of the shit i heard from her new album i thought was just weird. But this song is actually pretty hot tho! That song by slim sounds like any other wack hip hop song, Foxy Browns song was garbage and Janet needs to give it up.
