Miss Texas Crystle Stewart, 26, of Missouri City, beat first runner-up Leah Laviano of Mississippi and Tiffany Andrade of New Jersey to win the coveted Miss USA crown at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday night.
Stewart won the title after scoring high in three categories, swimsuit, evening gown and interview. As well as winning her own New York apartment for a year and a 2-year scholarship at the prestigious New York Film Academy, Stewart now has the chance to compete in the Miss Universe pageant in Vietnam in July. She will also become a spokeswoman for breast and ovarian cancer awareness and other causes.

MTV’s newest show ‘Rock The Cradle’ takes 9 music icon’s offspring’s and they compete for chance at their own record contract. It’s already been on for about 2 weeks so there are only 7 contestants left, but I finally got a chance the peep the show this week. It was rather interesting. i was able to go to the taping of RTC this past thurs… it was great… i had watched the episode last thurs and loved it… i was supposed to be there that day too but couldn’t make it… my agency sent me to work it…. let me say…. it’s a lot hotter seeing them live when you’re there than on tv…. aaaaaaaaaaaand… they all look 10 times better in person than on tv cuz on tv they look a hott mess… except landon…. but even he looks hotter when you see him in person!!!…. hammer’s daughter is actually prettier in person too… and al b’s bug-eyed son looks fresher in person as well!!!
