Miss Texas Crystle Stewart, 26, of Missouri City, beat first runner-up Leah Laviano of Mississippi and Tiffany Andrade of New Jersey to win the coveted Miss USA crown at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday night.

Stewart won the title after scoring high in three categories, swimsuit, evening gown and interview. As well as winning her own New York apartment for a year and a 2-year scholarship at the prestigious New York Film Academy, Stewart now has the chance to compete in the Miss Universe pageant in Vietnam in July. She will also become a spokeswoman for breast and ovarian cancer awareness and other causes.

MTV’S ‘ROCK THE CRADLE’

MTV’s newest show ‘Rock The Cradle’ takes 9 music icon’s offspring’s and they compete for chance at their own record contract. It’s already been on for about 2 weeks so there are only 7 contestants left, but I finally got a chance the peep the show this week. It was rather interesting. Most of the contestants can’t even sing though, but yeah..

JORDIN SPARKS & CHRIS BROWN ON A.I.

Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown performed their song “No Air” on American Idol this week. I ain’t gonna lie, I like the song. They look like brother and sister to me though.

chris brown and Jordin sang nicely but a few of the notes were all over the show at one point chris duck down in the note that supposed to level and when they rift it go all over the show, i they should have practised more . It was good though, i like the performance

Ahhhh I could really do without these contests…I remember a disabled woman won one year and another lady won something after she’d lost tons of weight… That’s to be celebrated, those are major achievements…But a regular, sensible, capable woman devoting her all and all to winning a pageant? I’m tired of these fake ass looking females representing the women of America…when will they get a clue…everything on baby girl is artificial; hair, nails, weave, contacts…need I say more???

Rock the Cradle is funny as hell there’s only a few that can sing A’Keiba being the best…LIl B’ Sure can sing he just gets full of nerves when he hits that stage b/c he was rocking “A Woman’s Worth” during rehearsal but screeched it during his actual performance And Landon just needs to stick to songs that goes with his deep sultry voice and he’d be okay…

Didn’t catch Jordin and Chris but I’m sure they did good
