Usher released his new album cover and promo pics on the net via his myspace Friday. The singer has been working hard with the likes of Jay-Z and Jermaine Dupri on his new album “Here I Stand” (out May 27).
Here is what Jermaine Dupri recently told MTV about Usher’s upcoming album:
Usher’s album is more about teaching men [that] at some point, you gotta grow up. And growing up is respecting a woman and having a woman in your life and taking care of your woman. I just don’t like Usher anymore bump the fact that he’s with a woMAN, but the whole thing with his mother..turn off. Good luck to him anyways I won’t be supporting him.
This is definitely one of the few albums I will be buying this year (and trust me I don’t buy many). “Moving Mountains” is my joint! I must admit R&B is losing more and more depth as the years go by. Guess I’ll be buying 90′s albums soon!
Maybe the fact that Usher actually married his woman and settled down with her will rub off on Jermaine Dupri…

I can see him trying to be more mature and it’s showing. Promo pics always look the same to me no matter the artist. He has more clothes on this time around.

I don’t see how “Making Love In This Club” shows maturity lol that song to me just sound like a silly song Usher put out to garner attention lol nonetheless I have to listen to the album because some of the songs that have leaked I have not been feeling. “Confessions and “8701″ were fyah! Good Luck Usher oh yeah the album cover is whack but the other promo pictures are nice!

) message has always been there, BUT NOT IN THE SINGLES, most of the singles that you’ve listened to are mostly club , but if u actually purchase/download the album there are lots of song that give u that msg, i’m still an Ush fan, I dunno why I feel RnB more then Hip Hop music…
Anyway as a Graphic Artist, that cover blows big time, I could make a much better one with the other pics added in like 10min literally =/

I don’t think it’s Usher’s fault as far as the first single choice-Polow Da Don leaked the song and it took on a life of it’s own. I’m sure if it was up to Usher he probably would have went with another single since “Love In This Club” is sort of Yeah-esque

Ok, ok….. at first I wasnt feeling the pic with the hat bcuz its so grown up for Usher, even tho he is almost thirty we tend to consider Usher to still be a young voice but once I read the concept I was totally floored and can dig it. I think this new family thing that he is embracing is a very good look!
