It seems like Kelly Rowland is just throwing out videos left and right. We got “Put It In (Work)” not too long ago, as well as “Daylight” with Gym Class Heroes’ front man, Travis McCoy. Now, she releases a video for “Comeback,” which I’m assuming will be a single they release for the digital re-release of her sophomore album, Ms. Kelly.
You may recall a while ago, we posted photos from the video shoot. I think Kelly shot “Comeback” and “Work” on the same day. In any event, Kelly looks absolutely beautiful in the video. But then again, when doesn’t she?
I always knew this video was going to suck ass. Kelly can dance and she didn’t give me anything I would remember. I did look like Upgrade U with a Umbrella color scheme. This video stinks. Nothing about this video is catchy. Kelly needs to find out who she is first. I think she still thinks she can do what Beyonce can do. I think if she did Pop Music she might do much better like she did on her first record which i still love. I’m not sure what else to say. I mean everybody that likes kelly needs to go and support her. I however will not support lackluster artist like Kelly, Amerie, and Ashanti. I just won’t do it. Vocal ability isn’t the only reason why people like certain artist. Star factor is a big reason why certain artist fall to the way side.

I agree with many of the above comments. I said it a while back and I’ll say it again. Kelly is NOT Beyonce nor is she trying to be. The only reason she is compared to Beyonce and thought of as attempting to be like her is because people PUT HER THERE. If you watch her in interviews- yes she is proud of her sisters in DC and yes, sometimes she promotes them, but that just shows HOW GENUINE SHE IS. That’s a FRIEND. She wants them to do well even if they don’t do the same. Her music is competely different and has always been and I like it. She’s received GREAT reviews on her album but unfortunately, she did not receive the attention she deserved. She didn’t receive that because everyone is so STUCK on the fact that BEYONCE is everything and if it’s not Beyonce, then it’s not good. I cannot believe some of you all think that this is a Beyonce song? Really? This isn’t even her style? You know why? Because Kelly wrote it for herself!
She is an underrated. If you’ve heard her album before, you would know that. Assumptions and low-fact-bearing comparisons don’t cut it. On top of that, many people out there are talented – AMERIE is talented and she gets no love. It’s a shame. BRANDY hardly gets any love nowadays. What do these artists have to do? I just don’t get it. Kelly is talented. That’s all I have to say about it.
LOL at all the people claiming that Kelly is trying too hard to be sexy. But nobody ain’t had shit to say when all of that unnecessary gyrating was going on in the “Crazy in Love” or “Check on it” video…

Kelly looks pretty as always, but this video is wack. Her past videos have not been up to par. She got money, she go style, and a great personality, but her videos just dont seem to match her, to me anyways. Come on Kelly, step it up, get a new director or something.

I read all the comments and I agree with the some of them. I wish Kelly would break away and discover herself. Maybe she needs to go to Egypt like Alicia Keys did. Hell I wish I could. I like the song but not the video. I think Kelly is talented but she does lack something. I’m not sure what it is but its like some artists you just gravitate to just because of their soul may sweep through in the music or you can tell when they are on stage the passion for music in their performance and when she performed on BET that one year I didn’t get that feeling for Kelly. She does have a pretty voice though.

We Love you in TORONTO, Kelly gets my support no matter what, I have her CD it was hot and I agree her album was the best for 2007, to all the Kelly fans hope yall are going buy her album because I know I will, and for the people who say Kelly is like Beyonce, not even close Kelly is better and has her own style so stop comparing the two…and if she acts like Beyonce it might have something to do with them being best friends and they were in the same group with each other for years now.
