♫ HOT OR NOT: IZZA KIZZA’S “HERE I IZ”

♫ Izza Kizza - Here I Iz! (clean version)

This is Izza Kizza, the newest signee to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group label, in conjuction with Soul Diggaz. “Here I Iz!” is produced by Soul Diggaz, and will appear on his upcoming mixtape, Mr. Next Year. I think what peaked my interest most about the rapper was the interesting promotional shot, with the multiple arms. And what made it even more interesting was the fact that I identified the arms with his style of flow. Not to mention, he’s in good company, with Timbaland, Keri Hilson, OneRepublic and many more.

So now that you know a little bit about Izza Kizza, and you’ve heard the song, let us know what you think.

Nope , this is pure wackness…. and why does Timbo keep signing rappers that sounds just like him?? Is there any artist on Mosley Music Group that have actually worked yet?

Your losing it Brian LOL!!! What kind of foolishness is this! LOL@4 You know what it does sound like that. Stick to producing Timbo, leave the talent searching for some else. Is it just me or is all of Timbaland’s songs are starting to sound a like?

It’s too many I’s & Z’s in that artist name & title of the song to even give it the time of day.

“Here I Iz”???

Please, gimme a break.

@13 Timbo’s songs have always sounded the same (apart from in the 90s). Every artist thinks its cool to waste $250,000 per song working with him but its soo generic! Nearly all the songs on the charts sound the same because Timbo or some other similar producer has created it.

Where has originality gone?

I totally agree with # 8 ! Once I heard the N word I was done. Derogatory terms, tattoos and braids/dreads all need to be put to rest.

maybe he had something better of different to bring in the music industry cuz we can juge him on one song but this one its just too too weird for me
my opinion, and no disrespect for him ,maybe he’s talented, but if i had to judge on one song, i will have to pass ( looool paula abdul style)

This kid is hot and very different. I been following him for a minute, and his Red Wine record, and They’re Everywhere songs were crazy. I proly like the Walk the Dawg record the most which features Missy Elliot. I think this is a great record for a mixtape. Crazy outrageous flow. Over all a great matchup with Tim, and I think big things are coming for this kid. His myspace is crazy creative, and his other music is also off the chain. Props for letting the world know!

I liked it minus the N word he frequently used. I thought he reminded me of Outkast’ sstyle , but his voice sounds like Chamillionare/Luda a bit.

I though the melody was catchy, different & playful. I was with him until the n- word became the lyric every four or five words. Why make a song with so much profanity that when you play it on the radio you’ll get dead air every couple of seconds? This is 2008.

Song was wayyyyy overdone. Too much going on in one song. The annoying voice or vernacular changes over those tracks was straight. I hope this was some extra sht timbo and the producer had laying around. Dudes voice is annoying and the N-word with a child-like bounce track is type corny, using the N-word now @ days type corney! Like sagging pants! SO WE DONT” BELEIVE YOU YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE! Come better than this- please!!! Change your name too you look to da&*^ old for IZZA KIX+ZZA or what ever no man should have that name- sounds like a slave or some BS! Maybe the name would work for a nicalodian cartoon, that I would forbid my sonn to watch beccause of the potentially offending name!go back and bet your mind right! or rep that name better than that! my 2 pennies!

lol @ no. 30. Someone did sign him. Hot beats but damn the guy messed it up. Like some of y’all already said, the N word needs to go. Don’t make sense to be making songs with profanity especially in this age. Otherwise, song is ok.

I think somebody said it best when they said TOO Much Creativity can kill a song.

And far as Keri Hilson, that is chick is so overrated…She ok. Her voice is nothing special, the only reason we feeling her is her Timbo/polow da don connection. Her songs leave me completely hollow and the is no feeling or emotion t it….I am not hating just not getting the hype. Pleez admit people you are only interested in hearing the beatz that will supporting her CD. If Timbo or Polow wasn’t giving her them hot beatz we would be writing her of as another Riahanna or Ciara. I respect her writing ability and think she should just stay just that a writer…and I’m out!

There are some parts of the song that I really like. I love artists being creative, but I think you have to know when to stop, because then all of your creativity gets lost in all the elements that you are trying to add to a song. The song left me a little under and overwhelmed. I feel like the song is cluttered. I would like to hear more, plus I really could not understand what the song was saying.

Lol his family guy videos are tight, they’re funny, and I think the beat for this is OK, his flow kinda has potential for me. But he, like the track sounds kinda all over the place though, and lyrically; half of it was nonsense, the other half i couldn’t make out a word…
(and i agree with 38, im still waiting to see what all the fuss is about over keri)

First of all, Ima need for new up and coming artists to use proper spelling(and grammar) when coming up w/ song titles and names…its getting out of control. I’m sorry but I couldn’t listen to it after the seventh “izza kizza comin’”…

I’ll let him pass with this song only becuz he seems to have good delivery. I didn’t listen to the whole song becuz the beat was too corny for my taste. I look forward to seeing what else he have to offer. He seem talented tho. I thought it was luda at first too (as someone mentioned). Hip hop has disappointed me this whole year thus far. If its not about women and drug money then it’s on some tough guy , I’ll kill your mama type of shit. Give me a break. But then again, when ppl try to rap about something that isn’t in those categories they don’t sell so who’s wrong- The consumer or the artist? Don’t get me wrong, rap always had those categories but the lyrical wordplay was more intriguing. Now a days the rappers aren’t even trying. The shit they writing seem like stuff that a middle schooler has penned. Then again, a middle schooler is probably writing some better shit than that. All the dudes and women who can really rap and write lyrics never get a deal and that is why hip hop is dying a slow death. It’s becoming a serious gimmick and only ppl under 18 seem to be able to tolerate it. I rather buy a independent artist’s cd than some shit out of the record store and that is exactly what Im doing tomorrow.

Izza Kizza is da truth when it comes to lyrical content most people who do not feel this guy is use to the typical flow and style that is overcrowding the hip hop game! Timbaland has found a mirror image of his production! And to sleep on this guy is a bad choice! you bettah catch up with the game and IZZA KIZZA’s flow! IZZA KIZZA is the FUTURE!!
