♫ Keri Hilson – Energy
Keri Hilson finally premieres her first single on CL, from her debut album, In A Perfect World…, which hits stores September 23rd. “Energy” is a great crossover record, produced by The Runaways, who have done work for Natasha Bedingfield and many more. If you’re not positive about who Keri is, you may remember her from the smash hits, “The Way I Are” and “Scream,” from Timbaland’s latest project, Shock Value. She’s also responsible for countless hits like Omarion’s “Icebox,” and Britney Spears’ “Gimme More.”
Keri’s album will contain productions from Polow Da Don, Timbaland, Danjahandz, The Clutch, Cory Bold and more. I am so excited for Keri and so glad that she finally has a release date. Keri Hilson has a stank personality! We share a similar friend! I’ve had to deal with her ranting about herself 24/7. theres nothing humble about this chick! I’ve been hearing this song for like two months now, cute song, but knowing her personally turns me off from what ever she does. She’ll do great in the industry because she’s 100% stuck on herself! she does work hard, but when you’re around her you always end up rolling your eyes when she steps out!

As someone who likes pop, r&b, gospel, some alternative rock, I can say this song is wack. I listen to every Keri song CL post, because of the hype and I really don’t see what all the fuss is about her. There is noting special about her or this song imo.

While I respect her and her grind with the writing…I think this song was rather bland.
She had a lot of time and a lot of writing chops…she could’ve done better. This song does not SCREAM!

(to #124) Ciara’s past two albums weren’t at all regretted when i bought em. I feel like they were a better investment than “B’Day” hands down!!!!!!! They both had more substance and got better with each album. AND Ciara’s “Fantasy Ride” is gonna be 10x better! Jus wait til “High Price” f. Ludacris comes out next week!

I somehow like the repetition, unlike the other songs like MUSHY flashing lights, Ciara ft Ludacris high price, and Ne-yo closer. This song has many repetiitons but it is sooooo catchy, and this girl is on her way to the thrown….

Keri is the best canidate for a crossover artist and she is more marketible then ne-yo and the dream. it’z a dog eat dog world and this girl already has her dukes up and swinging fullforce into the entertiament industry {refer. to her song concept: ENERGY}. she is [scratch that]… SHE WILL be on top in the R&B game since Bee Almighty [Beyonce] is stepping down for a minute. she couldn’t of choose a better time to get started.
