Lot’s of stars bought their star. Recently, Angela Bassett bought hers right before Meet the Browns came out. It is something people do now for promotion of a project or just general publicity. I don’t know if that’s a great thing but it’s true. Second, whether he bought it or not, I don’t think a lot of people on this board understand what Diddy did for Hip Hop and R&B in the 90s. He created a whole new sound. Jodeci, Mary J., Big, 112, Faith are just the artists he helped make famous (plus dozens more). What he really did was move us out of New Jack Swing and into Hip Hop beats in mainstream music…it was NOT out there and he helped make it an art form. The man is a business mogul if there ever was one and I respect him for that. His personal life is his business and judging him or Kim isn’t anyone’s place.
