Beyonce looked absolutely freaking gorgeous. I looovvvee the dress on her and I like that she kept it on the simple, sleek, and chic side. I actually like Eva’s dress. Not at first, but I got used to it. And I totally agree with poster #77, I must be the only one who does not like Kimora’s look. But I guess she sort of pulls it off.

Janet dress is really simply I wish she would have tone down her make-up just a little bit. She really do not need a lot of make-up!

Kimora & Djimon– I must be the only one who does NOT like that dress; too much going on for my taste.
Iman & David — Elegant & classy as usual.
Paula & Robin — look like a very cute couple.
Janet & Jermaine — Beautiful dress (why is JD looking at her like that?)
Victoria & David- Love or hate the Beckhams, you can not deny they are one of the best dressed celebrity couples out there. Victoria looks absolutely FIERCE in that dress!
Andre & Venus — Didn’t even recognize Venus.
Beyonce — looks pretty, not over done or over glammed up. Looks young and fresh.
Zhoe — not sure what to say about her (cheer up girl)..
Eva Longoria — Not really feeling that gown. It’ over powers her small frame and is such a drab color for a spring event.
Katie & Tom — either she’s really tall or he’s just short. Anyway, she looks fab, and I love her stepping out with the blue shoes. This woman has really come into her own.
JLo — cute dress, but color does not compliment her skin.
Fergie — Looks like she is a member of the Adams Family; don’t like the black dress, harsh hairdo and too dark makeup.
Joy — She dressed for the occasion (costume).
Thandie — NEXT!
Mary — too harsh a contrast between the hair & the black dress. Time for a hair color change.
Bill Maher’s ‘guest’ — forgive me, but she looks skanky. Why do all his ‘guests’ look like they’ve been rode hard and put away wet?!?! I’ve never seen this man with a ‘guest’ that looks classy and well kept.

Are we sure this event was this past Monday. Judging from all the fall (blah) colored outfits, one would almost assume this event took place in January. It’s springtime people, put on some color!

Sorry, Beyonce looks like she does at any other red carpet event. She is getting boring and I am a fan.

Hands down Iman is the best looking and flawless woman there. Paula Patton looks beautiful as well. I like Kimora’s gown because it looks very artistic which is perfect for where she was attending. Eva’s looks nice and sophicticated. Thandie has that classic Euro elegance to her. To me she is the only one who could pull off that dress for that type of event. Beyonce looks decent and toned down.

I love me some Janet, Beyonce, Thandie, and Iman. But the latinas killed this event in the fashion department. Both Evas and J.Lo…………But Angel there was this white woman her name is Anna Wintour she had on a crazy ass ALIEN looking outfit, I think it was silver Please UP LOAD THE PICTURE!!!!!

The theme was Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy??? Well, then these people look like safe, boring, air head losers! If that’s the theme, this whole thing is ushered into a whole other perspective and Joy Bryant, Fergie (yep, she went from bad to good as the context changed…she’s supposed to look witchy, it’s avant garde), Thandie Newton, and Katie Holmes are the only three who look even remotely well put together. And, why did Venus allow Andre to dress her? He doesn’t have great taste…he’s the typical gaudy flame.

Anna’s dress looks like someone painted ram horns, but it’s fitting because of the theme. All things in context, people…

By far, one of Jennifer Lopez’ worst red carpet appearances ever…I hate to say it but since the pregnancy she’s been looking a little wan. She wore cuter stuff while she was still pregant. I really would like to see her get it back…but she’s lost it somewhere….

I love Eva, Thandie, Kimora, Jennifer and Iman’s dresses. I actually like Katie’s color too. Beyonce’s dress is nice, but it’s so boring. The one time she’s supposed to look ridiculous she’s plain lol If this were an award show she’d be dressed in her usual drag ensemble.

@ 114 I just checked the site and pics. Those white socialites dress better than most of the celebrities. This years Gala didn’t have half the stars and designers it usually does either. There’s usually all kinds of parties and events leading up to the Gala too.

Jenny’s been wack since she married Marc. Skeletor sucked her dry of all her flyness.

EVERY1 LOOKS GOOD BUT WAT IS UP WIT KIMORA AND JOY BRYANTS CLOTHES.

I really like Kimora’s dress the colors are real pretty and really like Janet’s dress but everyone ook good though.

THE GOOD -
Beyonce: Simple and classy. The dress fits her to a “T” and it’s a nice color on her.
Kimora: She took a risk with all the colors, but it paid off. Strangely enough, I like this dress on her. She’s statuesque and “fablulous” enuf to pull it off.
Janet: In a word - FLAWLESS. The dress is beautiful, and the white really “pops” against her glowing complexion. Hair and makeup totally on point. JD cleans up decent, too. He’ll never be GQ material, but that shaggy beard he was sporting wasn’t doing him any favors. I’m glad he got rid of it.
Iman: Just STUNNING. She’s always consistently classy and beautiful. David Bowie knows to just fall back and let her shine.
J.Lo: I know some were disappointed, but I actually like her dress. That shade of aqua is one of my favorite colors. No comment on Marco Antonio.
Paula Patton: Gorgeous as usual. That gold dress is a good look on her. Robin looks pretty spiffy too.
Thandie: The ruffled mini was a risky choice, but it works on her. She’s such a pretty lady that she can just about get away with it. Plus, she has nice stems!
Venus: A pleasant suprise. Looking good!

THE COULD-BE-BETTER -
Zoe Kravitz: She should just stop trying to fight the fact that she’s a pretty girl, even with the sourpuss expression on her face. I love the dress. The feather boa, not so much.
Katie Holmes: The dress is alright, but those bright blue shoes have got to go!
Victoria: That lace suit-dress is not one of my favorites, but it actually works on her. But her makeup is too heavy and it makes her look old. David is handsome as all get-out, but what’s new?
Eva: this dress is just OK to me. Too many ruffles for her petite frame. Jessica A. wore it better (pregnant) a few months ago at the Oscars.
Mary J. Blige: Nice dress, but those etra-long blonde bangs kill the whole look for me. She looks a bit too much like Janice Combs.

THE UGLY -
Bill Maher & “date”: Can’t this man stop getting his dates from escort services? We all know Bill has had a serious case of Jungle Fever for years, but surely he can just find a regular black woman to date him.
Fergie: Scary. That black dress (tent) just swallows her up. And her hair and makeup are too severe.
Joy Bryant: Fire your stylist, if you don’t blind him/her first with that H.A.M. of a dress. Also, next time, you might want to try an actual hair STYLE. Joy looks like she just rolled outta bed and ran a comb through her hair before coming to this event.

As someone else said I really liked Eva Longoria dress although her picture isn’t posted. I didn’t think J-Lo looked to good. She seems to have aged in the face since the twins and Marc does look like he might have had the powder before the show. Beyonce looks nice to me but I’m not liking the purse. Although I liked her toned down look. She looking oh so natural and fresh. Mary really needs to stop with that blond hair. It threw everyrhing off and left her looking out of place.
