Ciara has been working on her third studio album, Fantasy Ride (out in early September), and revealed that “High Price” was slated to be the first single. The album is slated to have a more “crunk&B” sound to it and although there is not a full version out, I just wanted to post a little snippet so you guys could take a gander and see how you feel about the new vocal direction that Ciara is chosing to take. The chorus seems to be using some sort of vocal effect which has been prevalent in music as of late, but on the verses, Ciara’s going for a more “opera-inspired” sound. Color me surprised.
