Rihanna is a beautiful girl, and she definately has made her presence known in the fashion world, I mean Marc Jacobs named a bag after her for goodness sake!! She ain’t no Mariah but the girl does have talent and the music she has given us has been fire!!! She is young and talented, but a tad over exposed in my opinion, which can be scary because I want her career to have longevity!! And as for comment #1 she is an island girl, she doesn’t have to change for anyone, her accent is as much a part of her as anything else!!!

I think fashion magazines are the devil. Don’t buy them, they will make you hate you body, skin, and hair and want to waste your money on things created by designers who don’t employ Black models. That aside, Rihanna looks pretty good. I like this cut better than the last one, but I still think she looked best when she first started making music.
I like Rhi, she is a refreshing look to the usual lost in weave artists that we have, she wasn’t afraid to take out the weave and cut her hair into a style that was copied across the word and then change it again. Yes, she may not be the best singer (a Mariah, Whitney, Celine or Christina) but she does her thang, she created a pop style album that many artists are copying now. If it all ended for her tomorrow she would have made her mark in popular culture.

Yes, she had a stylist for the magazine shoot. Stylists are a requirement for any magazine shoot to capture the the editors vision and because the clothes for the shoot are loaned TO THE MAGAZINE for the shoot so someone has to put a look together. Whoever put that outfit together may have been hired by Elle Magazine.
To those saying she can’t sing must not have heard Take a Bow, the song with Maroon 5, and heard her on the Glow in the Dark tour. Baby girl’s vocals have come a long way. Since she has been on Glow in the Dark she has surprised a lot of people with her singing ability. She needs to work on energizing her performances but she is a good singer.
