Soul singer, songwriter and producer Dwele, will release his highly anticipated 3rd studio album Sketches of a Man on June 24th through KOCH Records. Sketches of a Man, a long time in the making, will be lead by the soulful single “I’m Cheatin’,” produced by G-1, the man behind Dwele’s breakthrough hit “Find a Way” (from Subject).
“I’m Cheatin’” is a mind bender which tells of a man who loves his girlfriend’s conservative side as well as her care-free side and dreams of cheating on one with the other as if they were two different people. “It’s based on a true story that I put a spin on. Unless you really pay attention, you might get the wrong idea,” Dwele admits.

Eh how about we focus on artist that we love and respect instead of hating on artist that we don’t like or paying attention to them. Stop giving them exposure by commenting under the post containing them and also stop viewing their video on youtube. You keep them relevant that way even if you don’t buy their albums. You’d be one less person who “actually” doesn’t give a damn if you stop feeding into them. What the fuck is “real” music that is a very subjective term containing music since everyone’s taste is different. Anyways I love Dwele dude has that smooth voice that is so simple. He said he admired Micheal Franks and it shows through his singing. Micheal Franks was a very simple singer that sang over complex music lol. I loved Dwele when sang on DJ Jazzy Jeff’s “For Da Love of Da Game” also on J Dilla’s “Welcome to Detroit” album back 2001. He been doing thing for a while now. Wish him happiness and cheer.
When will radio start accepting these great artist who really sings R&B (rhythm and blues) Dwele is that dude and every needs to have all his albums.

He sang this at his concert in VA at the Birchmere about two months ago. If you have never seen Dwele in concert you are missing something speciall. He is a real artist. I adore him.
I love Dwele I have his first 2 CD’S. He has such a smooth voice. And the instrumentals are out of this world you can just kick back and ride out to his music I can’t wait for his 3rd CD.

Im feeling it. If you don’t have “Subject” and “Find a Way” wow your missing out. Cuz Dwele is one of the most underrated r&b artist. His voice is so sultry, i love playing his cd while cleaning the house, or just chilling with my boo lol. His music always has a good message and is just beautiful to say the least. I hope 2008 is the year of real R&B iono what Ne-Yo is talking about cuz im tired of his ass lol. That last cd was trash. So now we have Dwele, Maxwell and maybe hopefully D’Angelo making a comeback. Im super juiced.
Dwele’s music is off da hook… i listen to his 2nd album “some kinda” all the time…… its so refreshing and relaxin…. he def doesn’t get the props he deserves as an artist…can’t wait for the new album to drop…

This is one of the most original artist left in the industry today. I’ve been following his music since the release of his second CD “Some Kind of Dwele”. This brotha really has some style and flair that you can just kick back and relax too. Everyone who hears his music is always intoxicated with his style and flow. “A bru….Feelen I’m Cheaten” Cant wait to hear the rest of the CD.
