Lil’ Kim is back with a new single, “Respirator!” Although I wasn’t anticipating this from Kim, it’s definitely a radio friendly song that I think will garner her some attention this time around. What I like most about Kim on this new album, is that she’s releasing the project independently. Kim plans on racking up and taking all this time around, which has been the path of a couple other established artists within the pats couple of years.

“Respirator” finds Kim using the vocoder voice effect, a la T-Pain. You know the Queen Bee loves to sing, so this doesn’t really find her spitting too much, but that doesn’t mean Kim doesn’t still have what it takes. If you’ve heard her last mixtape, Miss G.O.A.T., be ready for what she’s got in store for us on this new album. More info as it’s released.
