She wasn’t charged with or convicted of attempted murder. She was convicted of 1st degree assualt. It can be a fine line between the two but there is a big difference. Attempted murder would’ve been if the prosecution felt or proved that she tried but failed to kill her Barnes-Joseph and that wasn’t the case. This was a simple, stupid, dumb, brainless assault.
