Beyonce and Jay-Z arrived at Nice Airport in France for Cannes on Thursday. The singer, who has been rocking Chanel from head to toe hard lately – is reportedly recording the theme song for the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
Beyonce also reportedly admitted to the marriage (well kind of) saying, “I don’t deny it (the wedding). I just don’t talk about it. We’ve never talked about us and it’s kind of protected our relationship. I think it’s kept us out of tabloid drama.”

Check out new music from Common and Pharrell Williams. This definitely wasn’t what I was expecting from Common, but I am definitely loving it. The song really makes you want to move. Common’s last album, Finding Forever garnered him a lot of mainstream success, boasting features with UK songstress Lily Allen, Will.I.Am and Kanye West, as well as gaining him endorsements with The Gap.
“U.M.C.” is Common’s first single from his upcoming project, Invincible Summer which doesn’t have a concrete date for release, but will drop this summer. I’d love to see some great break-dancing in this video. It’s funky.
Check Common’s MySpace for more updates and keep logging on to CL for more music!

Byrd said he had secured the rights to a new film version of ‘Cat’ from the estate of scribe Tennessee Williams and intends to begin lensing in 2009, subject to the availability of thesps Terrence Howard, Anika Noni Rose, James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad…
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ centers on a tempestuous family gathering on the birthday of a Southern patriarch. Williams’ 1955 play was made into a 1958 film that starred Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. SOURCE

Lil’ Kim is back with a new single, “Respirator!” Although I wasn’t anticipating this from Kim, it’s definitely a radio friendly song that I think will garner her some attention this time around. What I like most about Kim on this new album, is that she’s releasing the project independently. Kim plans on racking up and taking all this time around, which has been the path of a couple other established artists within the pats couple of years. Continue
