I think people argue using conventional Christian beliefs because the celebrities in question espouse beliefs consistent with Christianity. Beyonce has said explicitly that she’s a Christian and Jay Z, while somewhat less clear about the matter, certainly takes from the vat of Christian ideas/concepts when referencing religion.
