I think people argue using conventional Christian beliefs because the celebrities in question espouse beliefs consistent with Christianity. Beyonce has said explicitly that she’s a Christian and Jay Z, while somewhat less clear about the matter, certainly takes from the vat of Christian ideas/concepts when referencing religion. So, it isn’t coming from left field…and it’s true that they absolutely seems hypocrits. Perhaps, they should study and find other religions that line up with their life philosophies…Nobody is forcing them into Christianity… So, if anyone is “dumb” it’s them…they should learn about other relgions if they’d like people to hear them say one thing and do another without scoffing…right?
