I have worked with Fantasia and you all do not KNOW her, she is not getting she is not phony and the girl is very gifted and aspires to do BIG things and I believe from working with her on Broadway she will do it, By the way i have never heard anyone from this end of the industry refer to her as ghetto.
If all of us on Broadway could find someone as humble as her to work with her.
In fact i was told by her cast and associate producers they had to step up their game when Fantasia arrived and she did not copy the others she rehearsed alone in Chicago and made the role her own. This was her Celie.
She is phenomenal and highly underrated and again I say you all do not KNOW her.
The hairdos and and the freedom of style is a breath of fresh air for her.
That role was difficult and she exceeded all expectations and you young people should be proud of her instead od dissing her because she represented very well here on Broadway and can come back anytime.
She is a role model because she has overcome many obstacles and is very confident and not plastic.
I personally love her look.
There is only one FANTASIA and she is going to be around for a while she is to talented and KNOWS too much about music at just 23.

Go Fannie, I think she looks great. Not to big on the hair but one thing about Fannie is she has always done something different to her hair. So go girl. I think the reason why most people would say she looks ghetto is because of the hair color. I know the only black girls I see where different hair colors that are loud are girls who live in mostly black neighborhoods. I live in the surburbs but I like the colors because it is different and not the same cookie cutter long hair all the time. That is just what I see I’m not sure what the styles are in Japan or London but I know I do like the styles of some of the Japanese (girls) because when I was in college they always rocking the flat shoes, leggings(sp) before it was popular.
