Another thing…Mariah is known to be very close to her fans. In EVERY promotion that she is in whether it is on Oprah, singing somewhere, or wherever, people from her fan club are always invited. She cares a lot about her fans so she would never keep a marriage to herself because she wants them to know. I don’t think she’s trying to get money from it or publicity. She doesn’t need either one. And why would she marry Nick Cannon for publicity? Wouldn’t you think it would be someone else? They just fell for each other.

I am truly happy for the both of them. They are not the first and last couple to get married so quickly after meeting. Some couples get married after being together after one DAY or WEEK! And many of these couples actually stay together and have a happy and lifelong marriage. Mariah and Nick look happy together and isn’t that what matters the most in this situation? All they really have to do is not let outside influences get into their bond/circle.
