I don’t know why people are giving Usher such grief….is it because he made such haughty comments about making classic, meaningful music? If it is, I get that…that was definitely a lot of hot air. But the guy is a genius when it comes to pop music, albeit it CRAP music, he just knows the perfect way to sing things. “Love in this club” fits this typical mediocre trend of pubescent r&b, but the way Usher sings it makes it soooooooooooooooooooooo hot. It’s grown on me and it truly my favorite song (the original). I love Usher.

I’m not feeling any of these songs. They do nothing for me. My expectations for Usher were not high due to the fact that I’m not a diehard fan. The songs that have leaked are lacking growth, substance, feeling…basically the IT factor. They are decent but nothing that will make me say, “I got to go cop that album.” I have no doubt he will do well and sell a lot of records, I just won’t be one of the many who buy it. As for Janet, her time has been over for awhile now. I could care less about her album. I heard it and was not impressed at all. This isn’t a pick on these artists post, I am hard to please so this is my typical feeling about the music of today. Only a handful of artists impact me and they are not listed here.

I love Janet and it truly hurts me to say it, but music has changed and she isn’t changing her sound so it’s like the same album being released over and over again. Still you can’t take anything away from her career, it’s just time for her to do something different. She should do more movies..hell how much more money does she need anyway? She’s set for life.

The only reason why Feedback made it to number 19 is because of us (her fans) buying the damn song. Def Jam needs to step it up in the Janet promotion too. The only time we seen her on TV was during the first two weeks of the release of Discipline. Janet didn’t even go on BET to promote it. I know she has a tour coming but dammit Janet release some videos until then. LUV is a great song hell its the second single and a video wasn’t made. Rock With U is the third single a video was made. I was really looking forward to Usher’s album, but I’ve decided not to even purchase it, I’ll stick to getting a couple of singles that I like. The album sucks.

Dennis I agree Janet and Mariah are on the same label and yet Mariah is getting shoved down my throat. I haven’t heard a Janet song since Feedback and I barely heard that. Def Jam is not promoting her well and JD went over there Jay z left so he is not blame for that. L.A. Reid is the head man in charge. I am NOT a Janet STAN I’m just calling it like I see it.

thank god i know that i know that some of the best cds ain’t being played on the radio because of the over saturated bull crap messing up the radio today.people not buying discipline because radio ain’t playing her and she’s old blah blah blah don’t know what they’re missing.i love the original mix of this can’t be good but the remix is good 2…its got that carribean feel.

How come janet hasn’t realeased ‘luv’ yet ?? Gee, thats the best song on the album, imo. It won’t help the sales but it would for sure pump some life back into the album, I agree with you there Brian.

I only liked cici’s part on the Nelly track, Kinda disappointed tho, I thought it was going to be hot. the single as a whole is outdated.

People are not feelin Janet anymore…period. Why doesn’t black radio play her if the issue is white radio stations? She ain’t selling with no body anymore. Hell, Prince and Madonna have fan bases, but they can’t sell either. Madonna’s foolishness will be gone in a couple of weeks. Her first single did well because of Timberlake. She can no longer stand on her own.

I have been listening to the chris brown song hard since you posted it, and whereas i’m not a chris brown fan (i think i like only one other song) i’m liking this track. Now i think that if it was sung featuring Brandy it would have been off the hook (as i really don’t understand the fuss about Keri Hilson) or even Rhi Rhi would’ve been cute
