With this television season coming to an end, many networks are pitching and working on new shows for 2009. Fox television will be bringing the buzzed about animated comedy The Cleveland Show, a spinoff from the hit series Family Guy.

Peter Griffin’s buddy Cleveland moves to Stoolbend, VA with his son, his high school sweetheart Donna and her daughter. The wacky neighbors include a loudmouth redneck couple, a British family seemingly stuck in the Victorian era and a family of bears in this “Family Guy” spin-off. SOURCE

Rapper Shad Moss, also known as Bow Wow, has signed up for a recurring role for the upcoming fifth season of HBO’s Entourage. He will be playing Charlie, a new stand-up comic client of E (Kevin Connolly).

Bow Wow has been stepping up his acting game lately, also landing a role opposite Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington in the sports drama Patriots, about a high school basketball team in post-Katrina Louisiana. The rapper hopes to follow Will Smith’s career:

After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I’ve decided to shift my energy to something else I’m passionate about, acting,” Moss said. “I’m going to try to be the next Will Smith.

So I watched The Game yesterday online at the CW’s website and all I could say is WOW! This show never disappoints when it comes to season finales!

There have been rumors flying around that The Game would not be returning next season (which would be a shame seeing how it ended off). However, the CW announced last week their Fall 2008 line up starting September 1st - and it did include the show which, has moved to Fridays at 8:30pm. Beats Sundays because I always forget that its on.
