Hey guys I’m I the only one who see that the Kardinall Offishall sng is a traight jack form Prince !
Especially it’s ound like When doves cry, the chord evolution and the drums. And that’s MY problem in hip-hop today :
1) There is no lyricist in the game, thos 3 videos show it all ! (I like the way she do it)
2) The producers recycle some old techniques. Timbaland work on Madonna album sound like a mix of the JT album and Nelly furtado. The Neptunes work sound all the same. The others producers don’t have a signature-innovative sound !! Stargate (Beyonce Irreplaceable) always use that guitar-driven beat nothing add to it !
And Will.i.am from the BEP fame, only JACK the Prince-style of production. And the others always use either a ringtone-southern-rap beat or a “euro-pop” sound coming from Timbaland !!!

Now we need lyricist AND good producers. Cuz there will be no evolution without that !!!
