Released this week was the new sexy video from Maroon 5 featuring Rihanna for the single “If I Never See Your Face Again.” The track will be on the rerelease of Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad, entitled Reloaded, due in June, as well as Maroon 5′s It Won’t Be Soon Before Long due out in July.
N.E.R.D. finally releases a video for their first single, “Everyone Nose (All the Girls Standing In the Line For the Bathroom)” from their third studio album, Seeing Sounds, due out June 10th. The video cameos actress and accused-coke addict, Lindsay Lohan as well as frequent collaborator Kanye West. I really dig the feel of the video, I think it really captures the club and party life.

I know everyone likes to be on Beyonce’s this or that but just because she has one all those awards who cares!!! Some greats haven’t won that many and they are wayy better than Beyonce. Rihanna may not be the best singer but don’t put Beyonce on a pedestal and use her as the best of the best. Yes, she can sing and dance at the same time she is a great performer but her music is not classic nor timeless. Beyonce is the type of person who is out for money.. I have only heard of two or three things that she is doing for other people. What I like about Rihanna is she still remains humble and she can interact with her fans when B does things it always seems so fake and calculated. Besides Beyonce needs to know in advance what her questions her should she get interviewed I doubt she can answer questions grammatically if she wasn’t made aware of the questions in advance.

I actually really like Maroon 5 (if u don’t know them, they R WORTH looking up). I even like the the artistic vision of the video itself. Rihanna’s fashion, makeup and hair.. ALL GREAT.. but her voice in the song.. i’m not feeling it. I’m not feeling the song much, but i’m definitely not feeling it with HER in it. And i like her very much, but this song.. i’m just not digging it.
I think Robert Palmer did a better job with his “Addicted to Love” Video.. cuz that’s what it reminds me of.

I like both the original and the remix because I’m a maroon 5 fan. I think putting Rihanna on it was a great marketing move. Yes she doesn’t have the best voice but right about now she’s a hot commodity and very apealing in the pop/rock world. I don’t think her voice is not the greatest, but it doesn’t sound too bad as long as she’s not aiming for any high notes. She can be used for the adlibs and small parts of this song. I think it works well.

Rih is doing her Caribbean girl thang. I think Rih is as good an entertainer as Bey plus the girl is young (just turned 20) so she has years to hone her craft just like Bey did when she started out. I love Bey but when she performs sometimes she has an “I’m all that” look on her face and sort of over does it.
