My defination of a socialite is someone that mixes and mingles with people in powerful,important places. They are always at the most happening events. An automatic A-lister. You also have to have dough to become a socialite. There are a few black socialites but that is still taboo to some folks. She is not a hoe, she is a socialite. A socialite does not have to have a 9 to 5. They work though. Their job is to rub elbows and network with the upper crust. She was married to a black man prior to the Ray J tape.
