I actually thought it was great. They kept the foolishness to a minimum (aside from T-Pain performing twice) and I LOVED Alicia’s performance because she reunited my FAVORITE girl groups!! Al Green was off the hook. I think he turned all those celebrities into regular fans and that was really a cool moment. I guess I liked it because I’m not too much of a hip-hop fan.

THE BEST PART OF THE SHOW WAS ALICA KEYS AND HER TRIBUTE TO THE GIRL GROUPS OF THE NINETY’S AND THE AL GREEN TRIBUTE-LOVED JILL&ANTHONY-BUT THE ULTIMATE SURPRISE WAS MAXWELL. I ALMOST CRIED SEEING HIM! THAT HANDS DOWN WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SHOW TO ME!
P.S. David Banner was looking fantastic!! And Anthony Hamilton’s wife must have tied him down and forced him to shave and dress well. I didn’t even recognize him at first!!! Maxwell looked different, but still a cutie!

Everything about this show was boring, with the exception of Alicia Keys, En Vogue, SWV and TLC’s performance. And Chris Brown bringing Ciara out on stage. And the Al Green tribute.
I really felt like I wasted my time watching.
I liked Ashanti’s and Rihanna’s dresses though.
Oh and Marvin Sapp killed it, his performance made me cry. It made me miss my granny.

The BET awards hmmmm….D.L. Hughley set the tone for a less than stellar night. And its so had how Usher feels he has schooled the youngin’s and they made him look like he’s the one who needs to take lessons. ne-yo’s performance was so good and smooth and chris brezzy and ci ci was hot!!!! My fav. segment was Al bc of course im a old school junkie. most embarrassing moment of the night goes to Cassie who doesn’t even know how to read a tele-prompter, oh diddy..is it really that good? if she can’t read i dont know how and the hell she plans on making a comeback!!! i appreciated the cam focusing on kanye most of the night cause thats my baby,,,,and thats pretty much it the awards were so so this year. That ish sucked, I think the opening act is supposed to set the tone of the show, so after watching Usher perform with his lip synching ass, that should’ve gave me the hint to change the damn channel. And D.L. Hughley sucked at hosting. I was soooo disappointed because they were hyping this ish up like it was going to be the best, and it left alot to be desired.
But I must say, Rihanna did a DAMN good job. She held her own w/out having to lip sing. I have a newfound respect for her, she did the damn thing.

Ok, was I the only one that noticed how big Alicia Keys looked on stage!! When she came out, I had absolutely no idea who she was until they zoomed into her face. I was like, dang why is Jennifer Hudson performing Alicia’s song! OMG! She was swaying those big hips of hers, and I was so distracted by how big she looked that I couldnt even notice her performance. I loved how EnVouge, TLC, and SWV came out. T-boz sounded a hot mess though. I guess she was sick with the SickleCell. SWV has gained tons of weight, but that is to be expected. But my best perfomance was Maxwell. Dang, I got flashbacks seeing him on that stage.
I think the best Rap artist award should have gone to Weezy, not Kanye. I didnt get that one at all.
Also, best female R&B should have gone to Mary J or Keyshia Cole, not Alicia Keys!!
