Usher- super wack and everyone was talking bout he’s gonna have a crazy performance.

Neyo- Awesome performance and he brought out the jabbawackees which was great. Is he an undercover alpha?

Alicia Keys- always amazes me with her performances because she always thinks outside of the box. I wish she had worn a dress like the rest of her dancers though. Her shape is serious!

Chris Brown- ok performance. Ciara is who really made his performance something with her dancing.

Rihanna- surprised me greatly because she actually controlled her tone and sound great!

Al Green- legendary is all I can say! He had everyone in that auditorium standing up and singing.

Nelly- Wack and Fergie murdered him with rapping.

Everyone else I could really care less for.

Nia Long hands down looked amazing! Loved the dress, the hair & makeup was on point..go head Nia!

Best performanced hands down was the A’s…Al Green & Alicia Keys. Alicia & Al Green’s performances brought the crowd to their feet and took us back to good times, family reunions, sitting around the house playin’ cards….it just made you feel good. Everyone from the thuggest of ballers to actors to the bougie was up dancing, singing along, smiling and having a good time. Thats what being a performer is all about. Good to see Maxwell..he still got it.

Lil Wayne shut it down, Neyo’s performance was hot as well as Chris Brown & Ciara’s dance together. Smokin’ hot. I wish Ushers performance had a lil’ bit more “Umph” to it, but he did a good job. I liked Keyshia & Lil’ Kim’s performance. Kim may be all plastic upped, but she can mos def still flow.

Fashion Disaters was Keyshia Cole & her family on the red carpet…Wth?? Keri Hilson needs to let that Tootie from Facts of Life wig go..and loose the Donna Summer outfit as well. Alicia Keys hair was too cute on the red carpet, but i didnt like her shoes. Chili could of came better, she’s too fabulous for what she had on..T-Boz too, what wasup with her pants during the performance? Can we say polyester? Cassie looked a hot mess. It just wasnt right, and she needed some pasties on her breasts last night.

#89, Chrisette Michele is more BETJazz, and not commercial like The Dream. We all know the most popular, not talented people, win the awards. I agree w/previous posters about Alicia. If you have hips like that, skinny jeans/pants are not for you. I don’t have hips, but I have thighs, and I would never wear some mess like that. People, people, learn how to dress your bodies! Chris Brown is too bright and young for me, but he had me mesmerized when he did ‘Take You Down’. I feel that his performance was too short, tho. I want Keyshia to stop yelling and dancing. #106, I agree about Lelee. She had a little weight back in the day, but she looked good, but I don’t know about Taj or Coco…they needed some Spanx. I’m still laughing about how my mom was like who that hell is that when she saw Maxwell and said he looks like sex.

I must have been watching a different show than most of you because thought it was cool. Not the best, but it wasn’t bad. I liked Usher’s performance…but I think the thing is he puts more emphasis on his dancing than singing…and I’d personally rather hear his voice and watch him do a few moves then all the acrobatics and no singing. So I guess it just depends on your preference.

Alicia makes me yawn…and though I enjoyed the girl groups coming out I wish they would have sang a little more…and maybe even minus Keyes, lol.

What in the hell does Keyshia Cole have on? her and Kim rocked it but Keyshia can’t dance, she just need to continue the Classic Mary J Blige throw your hand in the air and rock side to side dance.

The awards was a hot damn mess. Usher sucked big time…I guess he had his drag queen on his mind. Chris and Ciara , Al Green and Marvin Sap were very good. I guess Ciara left bugsmonkey at home. Alicia did nothing and she looked like a ham…but the SWV, TLC and en vogue were always great acts. Rihanna did a good job and she looked very couture and fab. Keyshia and lil jim not kim was wack and may i say ghetto as hell, her mama and her sister looked a hot mess. T pain session was ok. The awards overall was weak…not on the level as the MTV awards.

Everybody look nice and some of the perfomances were good but the best parts of the show was the Al Green tribute and he had everybody dancing & singing along. It was also nice that Alicia Keys paid tribute to the girl groups of the 90’s, man thoes people need to make a comeback and show some of so-called artists how its done. But overall the show was kinda good and bad like Keyshia Cole and Rhi Rhi singing off key.

Alicia Keys did the Thang…bringing out SWV, En vogue and TLC… But was I the only one waiting on xscape to pop from behind the curtains, that would have put the stamp on it. Usher was NOT good, Keyshia Cole did great, she was hype and her vocals were good, Missy obviously stood BET up…but Im sure she had a good reason..Oh and Nelly and Ferguie did their thing!!!

OMG Keri Hilson’s stylist should be shot!!! I love me some Keri but DAMN she looked like Donna Summers headed to Studio 54!!

OMG RIRI surprised the shit outta me, the chick finally learning how to sing live, yall notice how she changed the high notes in the song into lower notes. That’s the reason she sounded great. the chick needs to stick in her damn range. Now all she need to work on is her presence and her dancing skills!

Am I the only one who thinks Rihanna sounded terrible??!! and the performance was less than desireable, Chris Brown and Ciara tho that was HOTT! Luv’d it! The water effects were hot as well, Neyo and the Jabbawockeez amazing, A. Keys, TLC, En Vogue, and SWV off the hook! , Al Green’s lifetime achievement award (well deserved!), and the performances to go along with it were amazing! T-Wayne? Umm ok..aren’t the cute little name collabs meant for couples?? Maybe I’m confused…first the kiss from wayne 2 baby, the T-pain talking about Ray-J’s “meat”?? A lil suspect if you ask me!
