Who care if her shoes are too large. at least her life is on the right track! you go girl and the reason her shoes look like that is because her feet have slide down to the front of the shoe! Who cares how they look they graduated. Not many people can say that or do that!

Congrats #13 from another native of Miltown. This reminds me I gotta go to the Union and get my sister some stuff, lol. Celebrate hard but carry an umbrella…ella…ella….eh…eh…
Were are the fellas? I’m thinking:
1. They don’t come here often, if at all.
2. Haven’t graduated yet
3. Aren’t seeking higher education

I am so happy for everyone, I know how hard it is to finish. Congrats to all the graduates!!! Sadly, these pictures remind me that over 80% of black college students are women. I ‘m not sure what this means for the future of the black family when the vast majority of black people deciding to go to college are black women.
Could you guys please post something on the plight of young black men in America in the near future? Maybe Mr. Dakar could find something.

this is really a great post abd it makes me proud! you guys are to be congratulated!
also @#14 - her shoes aren’t too big. she graduated in North Carolina where it’s 100 degrees. Her foot is just sliding around in the shoes - they slide even farther than usual in open-toed shoes. but with all that GRADUATING going on, who cares? There’s one in every post right guys?

WOW!! congrats to the lady with the Phd in Computer Science Im trying to make it in the IT field when i finish with a BA in MIS that really inspired me because I became so discouraged with school this year, hopefully I’ll make it in 2011!!!
i thought the pic of johntaa was funny w/ his neice..because I have a niece thats 15 and we’re only 4 years apart and people look at us crazy when they find out our relation because they think we’re sisters or cousins..IT IS POSSIBLE people

I appreciate the spotlight of recent graduates. It’s great to have a variety of topics, not always related to entertainment. This is as significant as the political posts. Education is certainly one of the most reliable paths to achieving the American Dream.

I applaud the efforts of the graduates.
What I see from these pictures are a symptom of the black community. Not enough black men in schools, higher education in particular. I hope the numbers change in the near future. YES WE CAN!!!!!!!
