WOW! I just put the CL Grads intro post up this morning and we got a bunch of emails already. Here are the first batch of CL Graduates. Congrats to everyone! Honestly, this is really inspiring to me.

    WOW!! congrats to the lady with the Phd in Computer Science Im trying to make it in the IT field when i finish with a BA in MIS that really inspired me because I became so discouraged with school this year, hopefully I’ll make it in 2011!!!

    i thought the pic of johntaa was funny w/ his neice..because I have a niece thats 15 and we’re only 4 years apart and people look at us crazy when they find out our relation because they think we’re sisters or cousins..IT IS POSSIBLE people

    I appreciate the spotlight of recent graduates. It’s great to have a variety of topics, not always related to entertainment. This is as significant as the political posts. Education is certainly one of the most reliable paths to achieving the American Dream.

    I applaud the efforts of the graduates.

    What I see from these pictures are a symptom of the black community. Not enough black men in schools, higher education in particular. I hope the numbers change in the near future. YES WE CAN!!!!!!!

  12. Congrats to everyone….I can’t wait until it’s my turn to walk across that stage. Even though I don’t know any of them, I’m so proud that they are doing something with their lives….it’s a beautiful thing!

    BTW, I have a friend named Jennifer Slaughter, just like the girl above….her name’s spelled the same way too lol…..what a coinky-dink =]

    Congrats to everyone but there was only 1 guy graduation high school…women out there who have little men in their life…show them those pics..tell them high school graduation is only preparation for college. the women look wonderful but men we gotta do better by our families….
