I was at Birthday Bash and the best performance was Plies!! Dang why yall ain’t got no pics of him???? He rocked the show all by himself. He didn’t need any guest performers, he kept it 100 wit us!! I loved Jeezy tho, T.I coulda saved his performance for another day!!

The reality is, what other area in the country can you get the hottest artists in the US in one arena – THE SOUTH!! (New York, your Summer Jam has many artists from other areas, you know you’re down to Jay Z and 50, and 50 is on the decline, sorry). T.I has consistently released multi-platinum albums, Young Jeezy took a tired cliche topic (trapping) and made millions of you love it, Usher is a bonafide star no matter how you state it, Rocko was a former A&R and now artist who’s blazing tracks for the ’08 summer and so is Shawty Lo, Gucci Mane (although his personal appearance is his business) has a loyal following and Soulja Boy reinvented internet marketing for artists based upon his successful strategy. This was a concert, not a fashion show so the 20,000 plus was there to hear the music and view the performance. Little Wayne, Plies, Kanye, and Bun B are exceptional in their own right and 3 out of the 4 are from – THE SOUTH. It’s amazing that most of you think hip-hop was on an intelligent level before the top artists came from the South. Really – all I can remember was money, clothes, cars and women (From the East Coast) and gangbanging, killing, and B*tches ain’t sh*t (From the West Coast)! None of the artists were “EYE CANDY” so stop frontin. Yeah – obviously most of you have a short memory or you’re new to hip hop!!! From now on, post the city you represent… ATLANTA (HOTLANTA, ATL), Stand UP!!
