TIME.COM just released their list of top 50 websites of 2008 and Concrete Loop made the list in the ‘Info & Gossip’ section. That’s wassup! Here is what they wrote:

I peruse the other sites, and the CL is hands down heads and shoulders above the rest – the visual appeal, the variety of topics, and the fact that it attracts a variety of readers and posters.
However, what I like most is the integrity – while the other sites often post blatant lies and a lot of innuendo, CL handles every topic with class. For example – while all the other sites were running rampant with stories of the Bey & Jay and Mariah & Nick marriages, CL took the high road and waited until there was confirmation. If I read something on other sites, but it’s not posted on CL, I don’t necessarily believe that it’s true.
Big ups to Angel, Brian, Tiana & J. Dakar for doing the dayum thang!

This is a GREAT look! I remember when I found you all in late 05 and the site would have periodic difficulties and now “You’re in Time Magazine”.
You are keeping us in the loop with gossip but also educating us of our history as well as keeping us on the front line with politics. Great look!!!

I love how this site shows things in a positive and (sometimes) impartial way. not all that Perez hate. just the facts. I also love the CL crew and the way they show things like new artists, and news/politics, i also like how they profile the readers like the new graduates section.
