I’ve always been a sneaker chick myself, so when I see stars rocking the latest, I have to do a post on it. So far this month, those Retro Nike Blazers have been popping back up on various celebs..
First up, Jay-Z. Anything he wears always brings in a bunch of emails. As for the ones above, we have the Nike Blazer High’s in White, Black, Metallic Gold and Orange. Coming in at $74.99.
Next up, we have Rihanna. The singer was spotted at the airport a couple weeks ago rocking some All-White Nike Blazer Lows. You can get these for about 70 bucks at various online shops..
Last but not least, we have Bobby Brown rocking his Black, Metallic and Red versions of The Nike Blazer Highs. Same as Jay’s but different color.

Again, he dressed according to what he was doing. He was on vacation, it was hot, and he wore things you would see on a Yacht. Steve Jobs wore jeans, a v-neck sweater, and NIKE AIR Pegasus on the cover of TIME magazine. Jay is Hip-Hop, ala Russell Simmons. Seinfeld can be seen on Hollywood Blvd rockin jeans and sneaks… just a different swag. Still doesn’t look too young to me considering his job and what he’s doing.
The ones Bobby got on are crack…. *wants*.
Not to mention he won GQ man of the year 06…..that has a lil bit to do with fashion..

I don’t think Jay will ever change his look. As long as Russell Simmons can walk around and dress like his in his 20′s than Jay is going to do it. Russell can still hang around the likes of Trump and Gates and others and still rock his Phat Farm. It doesn’t make it right but that is their thing. I think he looks fine because I would be upset if he didn’t dress appropriate for events that required him to dress up. I know you guys heard the saying you can take the boy out of the hood but can’t take the hood out the boy.
Rake…kinda settled…….he was on the Yacht rocking that twill gear(appropriate for the occasion)…but now that he is eating dinner, that outfit was coo…he is an entertainer so he gets a lil pass..now if he was joe blow trying to wear that in the coporate world i could understand….but if you google other moguls, you’ll see, he’s pretty age appropriate… Steve Jobs, Jimmy Iovine, etc…same things, just diff backgrounds.
