Cedrick, 17, graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington, DE. He will be attending Harvard University in the fall. He is pictured with his mother.

Natacha, 23. Graduted from Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta campus with a Master of Arts in Arts Administration. She is pictured with Andre Leon Talley, editor at large of Vogue magazine (keynote speaker).

NaTisha. Graduated from California State University Sacramento with a degree in Communication Studies. She is pictured with her mother.

Alan, 23. Graduated from Tuskegee University with a Bachelors in Sales and Marketing.

Alicia, Dedria, Misty graduated from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. All ladies got their Juris Doctor Degree.

Akia, 17. Graduated Cum Laude from Westfield High School in Houston, TX and will be attending the University of Pittsburgh in the fall
Alexis, 17. Graduated from Cedar Grove High School [Ellenwood, GA] will be Attending Florida A&M University in the fall
(L) Nayonna and LaToya. Graduated from Temple University. Nayonna got a Political Science Degree and LaToya got a Psychology degree.
(R) Gina, 18 Graduated from Crete-Monee High School (outside of Chicago,IL). She will be attending the UIC (Chicago) in the fall. She is pictured with her sister.

Sierra, Jaha, Patrick and Javonia all graduated from the University at Buffalo. Jaha got his Bachelors of Arts and Science; Communication and a minor in Marketing.

Brandon, 21. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Delaware State University with a B.S. in Psychology. He is pictured with his best friend Adrianne.

Brittany, 18, graduated from Benjamin Russell High School.

Jacqueline. Graduated from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville with Master’s Degree in Education

Misha, graduated from St. Ambrose University with a B.S. in biology and minor in chemistry. She is pictured with her daughter, Nyla. Misha will be attending the University of Iowa school of Dentistry in the fall.

Thank you Angel for posting this. This is inspirational to me and to Misha, graduated from St. Ambrose University and on her way to dental school in Iowa “Good Luck”! I have a 8 month old little girl and if you can do it I can too!!!! Cal State Domiquez Hills here I come.
To Crystal I am 31 years old and I have two years of college ed left for my four year degree. You can do it and I will too.

@ Crystal heck my mother was 30 when she finished getting her hs diploma from some adult school and 32 when she went on to get some higher education….age don’t stop you…I see people as old as 60 in classes with me and other youth under 25 getting first degrees or finishing. Don’t know you but I believe in you and much success.

@ 53.KC I say the same to myself… I think it’s like you those are our people right there……whether we know them or not it’s because they show some of the best of us and it’s something vs what most media likes to portray us as (gangbangers, murderous, leeches, etc.).
