I think the music business took a break from Tyrese about 6 years ago. Hes a decent actor but you have to be EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT especially as a black actor to even get nominated.

Some of y’all need to STOP. Tyrees’s acting is actually pretty good. It would help if he could get more diverse roles like the one where he played a Navy captain. Besides, the more he gets to stretch his acting chops, the better he’ll be. Think about Queen Latifah. Remember her abomibadal turn as a waitress in Jungle Fever? Fast forward a few years and she is an Oscar nominee.

I like Tyrese, but he sucked in Baby Boy. His problem was that, that role was made for Tupac and after he got killed they needed someone to fill the role. Tyrese tried to play the role and be like Pac at the same time, and he ended up sounding and looking a fool.
Tyrese is beautiful ..plain and simple.
Forget the acting, I love his singing and I was really looking forward to the TGT cd coming out. We are in need of some real R&B singers again. My feelings are hurt.
