Remember recording artist Jarvis who was signed to SoSo Def? Well, if you don’t, just check out his old video for his 2004 single “Radio.” First signed to Jermaine Dupri, he is now 19 years old (he was first signed when he was 16), and working with Ludacris’s Disturbing tha Peace Records, and is preparing to release his new album, Dream Girls, which is supposed to drop sometime summer of 2008.
Check out the new single from the upcoming album, “Pretty Girl,” featuring label head Ludacris. It sounds like a good song for the summer and really good for radio. I’m going to try to see if it grows on me.

Yea, I saw when this song popped up on iTunes a while back, but I don’t think anybody else did. LOL. After he repeated “pretty girl” 89 times, I had to stop listening. I don’t really think this song or his voice will set him apart from Lloyd and Ray J and the such though. It’s just an okay beat (albeit horrible lyrics) and he sings on key. That’s it.
Its a cute lil song…nothing amazing ..he is definitely going to have to come harder if he want to be able to stand out and have long jeporody in the music industry.

I like it. It’s alright. He looks like he’s competing w/ Lloyd but that’s just me. Both got that long hair don’t care, both from the ATL. Just an observation. I wish the chorus had more to it though. He just keeps saying, “She’s a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty girl.”

I wanted to like this, cuz I liked Radio back in 2004, but this is not gonna cut it – not as a lead single. Not very radio friendly, too repetitive, and he’s not showcasing any type of vocal ability.

Jarvis has a nice voice and he’s cute but I agree that he needs to come harder.Luda just needs to focus on his own projects and leave other people’s music alone.
Ok, I think so many of you are over reading this song… its not really meant to be a huge record for anyone over the age of i would say 18, its catchy and it makes girls feel good about who they are. Luda verse was crazy to me speaking on she can be pretty and have a body but still want to take her time. If you go to youtube and look him up i have found some other songs that was just great, dream girls, make up , and a couple more that have leaked off of his album. And I dont see the whole lloyd and ray j thing either. I think he is dope and this song is just an attention getter, it will do well on radio because the little kids want to finally hear a song thats not telling them to lick a dude like a lollipop, or to trap or die, or any of these other subjects.
