#56, 57 & 60 (Common Lady) go ahead and represent for our Afro-Latino brothers and sisters. I feel ya! African Americans need to learn more about our brothers and sisters in the African diaspora and realize that we all have a COMMON struggle and experience. I have dual residency with Brazil and the experiences of our brothers and sisters there is the same - it’s just that their masters were Portuguese instead of British.

I heard this girl on Russ Parr singing acapella and she is definitely the business. This girl is only like 16 and she was belting out these crazy notes and playing the piano at the same time, which for those who don’t know is incredibly difficult. (Note: Alicia Keys almost never sings and play simultaneously). And to top it all off she hasa very positive message in her music- never singing about sex or things that are inappropriate for her age group or audience. I love to see it! Positive young black female doin her thing! Keep It Up! We need more like her people. ~Be Supportive. -Peace.

Karina is the best ever I know for a fact that a lot of young girls(like me) can relate to her music. She’s the best i’ve heard in a while and I will be buying her cd. It’s a shame people up here buying these garbage cd’s with profanity and pointless lyrics.
But anyways her voice is beautiful.

Finally, someone that can relatively appeal to her age group. Tiffany Evans, great girl..but she sends out mixed signals, grew up waaay too fast. I’m grown?! NO! Anyways, back to Karina. LOVE HER! She’s a breath of fresh air and she actually has talent….I don’t see her blowing up YET cuz kids my age don’t know talent or what R&B’s all about. She’ll have a low-key fanbase for a few years and when her age catches up, she’ll definitely be a HUGE force to be reckoned with. She also has a little sister….girl can blow! But yeah, you guys, check out her YouTube videos. She’s the next big thing so be on the lookout and support her career. I’m definitely gonna go cop her album.
