Missy Elliott is back in the game with her new single, “Best Best,” which is produced by none other than Timbaland protege, Nate “Danjahandz” Hill, who has been all over the place, as of late! Early this year, Missy dropped two singles from a soundtrack, which did well heavily on radio, with videos and in the club, but in addition to being credited with the soundtrack, the videos were tagged as the songs being from Missy’s “untitled new project.”
Now, Missy is gearing up to release her follow-up to The Cookbook, with her new album, Block Party. The name of the album has changed a couple of different times – so it’s good to see that now there’s an official title, as well as a date. Missy’s new album will drop September 9th!

The problem I have is the tempo. What am I supposed to do to this song? Can’t dance to it. Can’t grind to it. Can’t roll to it. Okay so when would I play this song? If it was sped up, I’d probably buy it.
That aside, it’s alright. The echo thing does get a little annoying though and the lyrics are not her usual. I don’t see this making much noise though but I could be wrong.

Just because Danja produced it doesn’t make it a hit! Everybody is using him, but he still hasn’t broken a new artist yet and the established acts he’s working with aren’t selling more than their previous albums. OVERRATED!!!!!!!!!! This song is no where near as fresh as her other first singles. Timbaland needs to do this entire project.
