   The gas situation will not let up even if there was a strike. Do you know how many people in the united states drive cars? A ton of people would have to be willing to participate to be able to see that kind of impact.

   Paying gas isn’t the only thing that is pinching us (well me at least), it’s the price of food, the price of plane tickets, everything has gone up now because of gas. Corporations., farmers, businesses need gas too to produce their commodities.

   If gas continues to rise, and if it’s heading to what europeans or other islands are paying now for their gas then at least raise the minimum wage or something to put more money in our pockets.

   I cant even waste time complaining about the gas, I have to drive places which means I’m going to have to pay. My mom lives in Bermuda and their dollar is equal to ours and they pay $8 a gallon and nobody waste time asking what the prices are the just hand the attendant the money he fills it to what ever was goiven and your out lol

   I have actually developed a phobia of the petrol station. I live in the UK and I dont know when this documentry was filmed but the price of gas has increased by 20% in the last MONTH so basically it works out to be about $9 a gallon over here and trust me, it hurts!!! Renewable fuels ppl thats were we need to go. Iv seen new electric cars being driven around cities as ugly as they r thats where the development needs to be pushed because oil is hitting zero faster than we all think.

   here in hawaii its about 4.20..if anybody lives near a military base then they should try to get their gas their.. its cheaper

   This is all the more reason why Bush’s butt needs to be out of office. This man in the eight years he’s been in ofice has managed to slowly but surely ruin this country. He got us into a senseless war, the economy is jacked up, etc, etc. I’m voting for Obama but I feel for him because mouch of his time in office will be trying to clean up George’s mess.

   @ 56 GG Boo I co-sign with everything you say. Don’t fall that entrapping thing where people say it’s the right time to buy a house.

   Ok, let me just say that public transportation is a viable option for those who live in the city, but for people living in rural areas-it’s not gonna work. My solution for rural drivers is to drive smaller vehicles, get rid of those gas guzzlers (suv, trucks, or whatever) or don’t drive them. Trade in those massive Suv’s for economical cars.

   Now in Venezuela, we are not experiencing the same issues as the rest of the world when it comes to fuel prices because we do not use oil to fuel our cars. We use sugar canes, yes sugar canes, as crazy as this might sound, it works. We haven’t seen the increases that you all have been getting. The government here is not out to rip you off of your hard work dollars. In south America, people buy their homes with cash. We don’t believe in that credit bullsh/it.

   Please become smart buyers when it comes to food, you can replace nutrients (vitamine D, grain and etc) with other food products. Example: Bread has fiber, buy strawberries instead (has the fiber your looking for)
