NEWS: R. KELLY ACQUITTED ON ALL COUNTS
R&B superstar R. Kelly was pictured smiling as he left the Cook County Criminal Court Building on Friday. The singer was acquitted on all counts at his child pornography trial earlier today.
The verdict came six years after he was first charged with videotaping himself having sex with a 13 year old girl. Both Kelly and the now 23-year-old alleged victim had denied they were the ones appearing on the tape, which was played for the jury at the beginning and end of the trial. Kelly was facing a maximum 15 years in prison.

The jury sees the tape, analyzes it over and over, the prosecutors bring in a professional who assesses that it would be difficult to fake the tape…
But they still find him not guilty? Wow.

I think it was a huge mistake to let R. Kelly off the hook. Money can do a lot for people…anybody who has seen the tape would know that it was him. I just think they didn’t care because the victims were black.

My feelings are if in this case the “victim” choose not to testify and repeatability said it was not her on the tape then thats what it is. He was not proven guilty by a jury of his peers and whether or not justice was served the judgment was made.
Hopefully he will view this as a second chance and move forward in a positive way.
