Just a couple of days go, courtesy of nahright.com, a new Nas track was released and we made a post about it, but here is his official first single, produced by Polow Da Don and featuring Keri Hilson. I am really pleased with the new track from Nas, because admittedly, I was a little afraid for him. No material had leaked from the album and people were becoming a little skeptical.
“Hero” is a great introduction int the new project, though. The song features singer/songwriter Keri Hilson, who will drop her album, In A Perfect World… in September. Nas’s new album, Untitled is set to drop July 15th, after a few minor set backs. Can’t wait!

Boring. This instantly became background music to me. I’m hoping that this isn’t the first single from Ciara’s 3 disc set, Fantasy Ride. If it is, she can keep it. Something about this song does not do it for me. I would prefer “High Price” over this - at least it was trying something a little different. I’m hoping that this new album has something similar to what she gave on “Promise,” which is by far, one of the Ciara’s best songs to me. I hope that she really does bring it this time around.

I feel uncomfortable listening to Plies, to be completely honest. I feel like I’m doing something I’m not supposed to - and it’s definitely not one of those guilty pleasures. However, I would like to know if Jamie Foxx is working on another album? Unpredictable was highly anticipated and very well received by fans, so I think it’d be interesting for him to come out with a new project. Usually when artist start popping up on features, they’re trying to get people used to the idea of them making a return.

New Nas track entitled “Black President” (Produced by DJ Green Lantern) off of “The Nigger Mixtape”. In the song, Nas speaks directly to Obama and gives him his outlook and expectations on what changes we need as a country. Good timing.
