Ashanti is so underrated. Style-wise she is always on point and the music that she makes is really good as well. The reason why I like Ashanti is because with her songs she really knows how to tell a story- she is truly gifted with a pen & pad. Hopefully much more success will continue to come her way because to me she truly deserves it.

I really like this album especially the slow songs. I’m trying to figure out how she is trying to look like beyonce because she looks the same from when she first came out in like 2002. She looks great in the pics. People kill me dissin Ashanti who is a great song writer and if you listen to her albums she has very good songs. However we support the least talented people of all like Rihanna and Ciara, but many are programmed to like who ever is popular in the media. I’m not saying you have to like her but many are dissing her without even listening to anything of hers.

Thanks I didn’t know she was one for the INc. She should’ve been one for J records or a label that was more classy for her. I admire her lyrics minus her voice. I probably would’ve wanted to hear Monica sing her songs and Ashanti get the fame of being a classic writer.

How old are you? I only ask this because you talk about Brandy and Monica like they weren’t stars of their time. Monica was out for like 11years with four albums and was the youngest R&b star to have back to back chart toppers on her very first album. Brandi was out for like 9years in music alone. They both stopped not because they fell off, but to deal with personal life. Both ladies started out younger than Ashanti and so far have lasted longer than her because she debuted in 2002. If you were not mature enough for the 90s music era then don’t criticize 90s stars please. Stick to what you know.
