Can a person have preferences with the people that they like? It just goes to show you that black people have an issue within their community- God forbid that you like someone whose hair is curly or has a different eye color than just brown- the problem is the lack of self confidence with African-American features and how they are percieved in the media which has reflected back on each person- they are not well recieved- our hair is labelled as being nappy or kinky; african-american models are not well recieved unless they have white features ect. The list can go on and on- but it is not going to change that God made people in the world with a mix of the races- please stop hating on that individual it is not their fault how the world percieves them vs. how they percieve individuals with more african features.

It is not an issue when I say I love Morris Chestnut- “dark chocolate” but it becomes an issue when I rather have milk chocolate or want some white chocolate? God made many ranges of colors and believe it or not you are with someone you find attractive - and it is partly because of some physical features THAT YOU LIKE.

Wow, I knew that comment made by Chris would spark the infamous “light vs dark” debate. As a dark skin young lady I didn’t even get offended by that comment. It seems as if he was joking, saying that Rihanna and his mother have something in common (light skin and green eyes) so there’s no problems between the two.
